Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the sudden cold spell and dark winter evenings closing in?

Been following this thread for some years now (mainly lurking).

Puggit, it's 3 days until October. I'm counting down the hours until we get a 2020/2021 thread !

This year's been pretty rubbish, so let's hope the lords of meteorology dump lots of snow and let me try out the Torsen in my S4.

Yep, just finishing something up outside yesterday approaching 7pm and was glad I'd accidentally left my mega torch in the car from the day before. By 7:30 black as the proverbial coal cellar.

Autumn equinox was a week ago so nights are now officially longer than day. Depressing isn't it.

We had a "supercell" storm last week. White out with hail.

It looked like a thunder cloud from Mario Kart!

I got a new car in May, with snazzy headlights - last night was the first time I used it in the dark hehe

I think it snowed in the mountains last week - but I have no evidence....

I think there was more last week but this was in the last couple of days on Lochnagar in Aberdeenshire (photo nicked from Facebook).
