Maybe. But it wasn't his fault the general public are, by and large, imbeciles who get what they deserve.

It is his fault that he took financial advantage.

Never heard of him and it seems I didn't miss much. (I'm a Leo and we don't believe in astrology or that psychic rubbish)

She was a professional TV and radio person and did occasionally do work for British media. And, as far as I am aware, PH was not a "Brits Only" zone. Plenty of non-Brits get listed in this section.
I was just pulling your leg, Eric, following your comments about how distasteful this thread was. tongue out
Sorry

Why does this post have subtle Brexit undertones?

I never said the thread was distasteful. I actually quite like it - chiefly because it serves as PH's own "Obituary" column. The aspect I don't like is when people start listing names of people who they would like to see die. That's the bit I find distasteful.

Otherwise, it's fine.

It is predictions, a sweepstake if you will, of people you think may cark it this year - rather than a wish list. Much like the deathlist website. A bit morbid perhaps, but not malicious!

People in the media heaping praise on him seem to have forgotten that important point. They keep saying how he was down to earth, charming and kind.

Call me a miserable cynic but I suspect those characteristics made him more attractive to desperate people hoping to make contact with a relative who had popped off this mortal coil.

Didn't he get sacked from Most Haunted because he claimed to have been possessed by a ghost but the production team had invented the character to catch him out.

Sometimes there is very obvious malice in the “predictions”.

yes

In 2005, Acorah claimed to channel spirits "Rik Eedles" and "Kreed Kafer" - anagrams of "Derek Lies" and "Derek Faker".

True ! - you do have to wonder just what Phil honestly thinks of some of his family. For the old boys sake I just hope it gives him hours of laughter.
