With all the stress of Randy , and now H&Meg , I would not be the least supprised if HMQ pops off soon
It certainly won't be helping Phil recover.
Probably help him recover..... I would have thought he'll be tap dancing around the corgis doing the Voodoo chant.... claphippyclaphippyclap
True ! - you do have to wonder just what Phil honestly thinks of some of his family. For the old boys sake I just hope it gives him hours of laughter.
Will he be still up to getting the Fiat Uno back on the road though?

He must have realised that he had nothing to live for after I sold my last Rush LP just last week.

I'm genuinely gutted by this news.

st, Peart was one of the good guys. His speech at the long-overdue induction of Rush into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame was nothing less than statesmanlike (Alex Lifeson's was equally legendary for very different reasons!). He'd been through a hell of a lot 20 years ago, losing his daughter to a car crash and his wife then dying, rebuilt his life with the aid of motorbikes, Macallan and music, and ultimately remarried and became a father again... and anyone who doubts his genius needs to go and watch a live video of Tom Sawyer.

Eugh. Sends shivers through me. My mate very nearly died out in the Saudi desert in 1990. He was on dispatch rider duties while we were on radio silence, and rode into a trench. Because we were on radio silence the unit he was delivering a message to didn't know he was due, so no-one reported him missing until a messenger from that unit arrived at ours. So a search was mounted, and he was found at the bottom of a trench with a broken leg, dehydration, and an Armstrong motorcycle. Scary stuff, motorcycling through the desert...

A worthy entrant, and a laudable innings.

That's a shame. I really enjoyed his understated acting in Yes Minister.
