That's achievable,

Just rid the world of all humans and all animals and you shall have it.

A go on the barmaid(s) down my local...

Joking aside I've enough sense and self awareness to be grateful for all that I have, after all, if I had more BHP or a bigger stereo I'd still end up wanting even more BHP or an even more powerful stereo.

All I want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague Away Kit...

I've been getting back into playing bass and I want to try some flatwound strings on my Precision, so I've dropped heavy hints about Tomastik Infeld Jazz Flats. Also hints about a nice tweedy hard case have been deployed.

The only motor related thing I can think of asking for is a set of vacuum gauges for balancing the carbs on my bike. I haven't got extravagant tastes.

Sheik Yerbouti was my last revisit. Tonight may well be Bongo Fury!! (Once the kids are in bed!).
Is that "Mazda Bongo Fury" or "MusicMan Bongo" Fury? Not familiar with Zappa so I'll have to check him out. Funny that the words Bongo Fury would come up in more than one context!

I don't really want anything, never do, but my daughter has asked me for suggestions. She looked rather incredulous when I requested a new kettle.

I used to own a Mazda Bongo, converted into a camper by a firm in Poole called Imperial. There is a sort of owners' club called Bongo Fury. The name has clearly been borrowed from the 1975 Zappa album, put together from recordings of the tour Zappa made with Captain Beefheart as a sideman, an act of bravery on his part given his old friend's eccentricities.

Lotus Exige.

My standing request for the last 10yrs. Either that or I'm quite happy with nothing.

I don't really like or 'do' Christmas and, now that my son is an adult, there's no real reason to indulge in all the bks. So I'd be more than content with a couple of days of clement, even warm, weather to allow me to empty, insulate, and then reorganise/fit out, my shed/workshop (and tools therein) in peace and quiet. It's a job I've been meaning to undertake for over a year, but other things always crop up and push the task back.

As for things - a nicely rebuilt E-Type engine wouldn't go amiss.

I bought a Lego Defender that I’ll get on the big day from my wife, and some gin from MiL, but other then that i genuinely can’t think of anything I really want. I think that’s a good way to be isn’t it?

Oh, a Chocolate Orange would be good...

Nobody's really answering... yes most of us just buy what we want when we want etc. You've bound to still get the question. What did you answer or are we all awkward guys who say "nothing" but look for our present on the day lol

Anyway iv asked for a ryobi/dewalt/milwakee brushless impact driver. Suprise me. She'll most likely get a £20 electric screwdriver because she has no clue what that is.

I have asked for a milwaukee cordless multitool (used brother in laws the other day and thought it would be handy to get one), as i already have some other milwaukee tools and charger its fairly cheap to buy just the multitool and battery separately. Can never have to many tools!!
