Thank you for your kind words, glenrobbo, but I am already the Art Critic of the Trivborough Bugle and wouldn't wish to dilute the Severn Bore of my work there with the rancid Thamesian flow of a sidestream in the Telegraph. Or sodastream.

Hiding under the bed from the goats again?

With reference to the evolution of the dialogueless greeting, we're still using the full vernacular "Morning" here Dahn Sarf, note the use of the capitalized "M", we've managed to lose the "Good" in appreciation of the fact that it rarely is a "Good Morning" but the locals seem reluctant to water down the Morning from including the oft seen as necessary "M", I did use the 'ning from the Essex based dialect but was asked if I was having some sort of fit!!!

Now, I see "Wutcha" as almost Liverpudlian in nature, whereas "Wotcha" would be more London based, interesting...….

Turning again to the local language, ‘noon is acceptable after midday.

‘Wup’ is an anytime greeting of long standing use.

Have we got a new Trivial mascot or something?

I don't remember THAT ^ ^ ^ being sanctioned at the ATMGM

I can't see it getting approval from Penrose, either.

How does it feel? Is it comfortable?

Did you put it up yourself? wink

My porch is too small to do anything like that.
I have to use the lounge. frown
