“Warm up” on the physio gym exercise bike - done.
“Unassisted” walking between the parallel bars - done.

The last one wasn’t pretty, at all. The physios aren't particularly thrilled with my technique, but pleased I can at least manage a few steps without crutches. It felt much more “secure” walking between the parallel bars, which made the walking feel a lot more natural.

I’m now home and thinking of having a pre-day drinking snooze. Oh, did I mention I was thinking of heading out to the bar for a “couple” of beers this afternoon?

And while I remember, I’m going to be at the police residential rehab centre in Harrogate for the last week of February and the first week of March, so if any Trivialites are around at the time, I’d be delighted to meet up for a pint or a coffee.
Good progress with Leggy McLegster, Dibs. clap

I think GOG is the nearest Trivialite ( part time) to 'Arrogate. If my memory serves me well. ( Wheels on fire, rolling down the road... driving )

If I'm likely to be anywhere round that way around that time, I'll *pm you for the rendezvous co-ordinates. In the words of the Immortal Bomma, "We'll see what happens".

Yes Wolves Bobberoo. They are(at the moment) protected but I can assure you the hunters and farmers will shoot on site unfortunately. Bad time of year,as lambs are everywhere here at the moment.
Farmer down the road a few miles Allways has a huge Mountain sheep dog that sleeps in with the lambs and mothers in thier home nursery fields. A wolf would need to be desperate to have a go with him!

Well, my “slight nap” turned into “massive sleep”. So I didn’t go to the pub. With my sensible head on, that’s probably for the best.

It’s blummin parky oop north at present, although we are without snow. I miss going skiing. The consultant says I’ll be fine to ski again as my “new” femur is at least as strong as the old one.

ION, my built up shoe hasn’t been built up yet (I wasn’t really expecting it to be, having only dropped it off last Friday). I’ve got physio again next Wednesday, so it’s possible I may be able to collect it then.

Thanks magoo, I appreciate that token of your token.
However, I cannot see any possible way that that young lady could drive that TVR effectively whilst wearing those heels.
I would have to assert my authority and tell her in no uncertain terms to get them off.

Safety! wink
