Tell Us Something Really Trivial About Your Life (Vol 33)
Discussion
A bit of a bd day ahead. 6am start and ultimately in Lancaster so eta home midnight. Mrs P fell down some station steps yesterday and buggered up a foot - so we’re both in the same pain boat albeit my end has already been torpedoed and hit an iceberg.

Enquiries as to the whereabouts of Battert reveal he has dedicated himself to finding the elixir of eternal youth. I'll go and see how he's getting on.
You have no idea how disappointed I was:Sold out, he has.
On the one hand, Eternal Life, on the other, disguising fine lines and wrinkles.

Hope Mrs P is ok old chap!!
A & E - X Ray and told lucky she hasn’t broken a small bone at the front of the foot. High heels and station steps mismatch - I usually use the ramp to avoid it.I didn’t know till last night she she said if she’d phoned me at the time she thought I would have come back. Not too sure exactly what she meant by that.... oh well.

Morning all.
Well, I eventually managed to get to sleep about 4am. I had a terrible nightmare though of being “tucked” in by some asthmatic weirdo. It gives me shivers now, just thinking about it. It’s incredible how vivid and realistic dreams can be. I can feel his breath, even now. Yuk.
Of course, I’ve been awake since 8.30, although I mitigated the general unpleasantness of the morning with a coffee and some toast (two with Marmite, one with blackcurrant jam). As I’m away next week at the rehab place in Harrogate, I didn’t want to end up chucking a load of bread out, so I bought what I thought was one of those “half length” loaves with this week’s Ocado order. I’ve done the usual thing though of not checking the size/weight and just going off the photo, which has nothing to scale it against. So I’m going to need to but another loaf before Monday anyway.
I did a similar thing when I bought some sherry a couple of years back (my sisters and I drink a birthday toast every year to our late Mum - we’re spread over the whole country, so we all do it at 8pm then share the photos on our WhatsApp group). Where was I? Ah yes, the sherry. I thought I’d buy a nice one, rather than cooking sherry and spent about a tenner. But again, I didn’t read the small print and the bottle turned out to only be 375ml, so the equivalent of £20 for a normal 750ml bottle. It’s supposed to be a decent one, but it’s bloody awful. It’s going to take me years to finish it at one small glass every year. The problem with a thumbnail picture of a 375ml bottle is that in the absence of any point of reference, it looks identical to a 750ml bottle.
ION, it’s absolutely pizzing down here. The Idiot really wasn’t a fan of going in the garden for a wee this morning and I suspect he won’t be thrilled about having a full walk in the rain in a couple of hours. I know I’m not. On the plus side, we get to see Lovely GF, so that’s a plus.
