Went cycling with Mrs Vince. I told her she could easily cycle across the stream without issue.

Turns out not.

Merc looks nice Dibble, but it's a lot of car to move with a 1.6 petrol engine, are you looking for something to have some fun chucking around a bit at speed or more of a relaxed cruiser???
That’s the one thing putting me off. There are t that many 2.0 ones to be had. I don’t want another diesel. There are some Focus ST estates knocking around, but that’s going too far the other way, potentially.

The long term plan is to get another bike for any speed fixes, bit then if I do go away in the car, I want to be able to get past stuff safely. Ideally I’d like a T4 V40, but they seem to be rare as hen’s teeth. I’d also be swapping for something with higher mileage, albeit two or three years newerererer.

Decisions, decisions.

I’m basically after the Holy Trinity of a cheap estate with a decent bit of poke, with low mileage, as new as I can get but not something Peugeot/Vauxhall/Kia/Hyundai.

That is three things, isn’t it?

That sound's brilliant V6. Madam pushfit should sleep sound tonight.
Did Keith join you?
Didn’t see him, he’s right at the end of a lane though. Two of his near neighbours were infected but I think they’re ok now.
There was loads of front garden quaffing going on, and a group of about 30 all distanced and getting on with a right old knees up - shouting across each other to be heard 20 feet away is hilarious to see.

Close enough old chap!!!
Would you mind if I had a rake through Autotrader and threw a few things up for your perusal??? If you're not averse to a Focus there is the possibility of the 1.6EcoBoost if you can find one, I'll have a nosey around!!!!

Sounds like fun was had. I only knew him when he was in the other house. Swan something?

Missus surprised me this aft. With ‘afternoon tea’... first time in thirty odd years!

All was very nice . There were 2 fruit tarts,( located on the upper tier ) she said “ i made those “.. I ate one , and sure enough it was nice. I said “ this is lovely.. especially the pastry “. She replied “ I didn’t make the pastry “.

You just can’t f#cking win, can you! rolleyes

Anyway, I came out of it unscathed. A good evening ahead I feel though! beer Have an enjoyable VE Day chaps.

There i was sat on the sofa, vegetating whilst awaiting Lady Slopes return, when some silly bugger went charging up the metal stairs outside our esteemed gaff.
This woke up the dog and he set off barking. I say barking but for a dog as small as he is that only weighs 9kilos, he has a bark like Lucifer's hounds.

So, return of the Hound of The Futskervilles again then. Silly bugger woke me up grumpy

Out of the bunch, the Mondeo seems like the best - what worries me is how close it is to Pompey...

I remember they did a Fabia VRS, which would’ve been pretty much spot on, but they stopped doing them a while ago. And I think that Octavia VRS is a bit lairy... The V60 interior is hideous. I think the manufacturer colour code for that particular shade is “OAP piss beige”...

I’d rather have the old Jaaaaaaaaaag estate than a Rover ZT-T.
