What do you call a fear of parrots?
Pollyphobia or Whooshaphobia, one of the two

Clean bed sheets
a nice brew when youve just come and your hands are freezing cold,
getting the TV remote when shes out and turning the soaps off

I’m guessing that you meant to say “when you’ve just come in”, as
if you’d have just come, your hands would very likely be warm wink

Thanks. Not only did my mind read the OP's name as dirty dirkm, I have also spluttered tea on my notepad.
Yes it is tea.

Standing out the back in the summer and hearing the Lambeg drum in the distance. (not too common now)
Also hearing the silage harvesters late at night. Two things associated with good weather in summer.
Rolling a dead straight sward in a field.

Filling my lungs with the ice cold air on my lunch time walk.

Seeing the kids happily playing with something

The late Autumn early morning at a race track , bright sunlight, slight mist and that special silence.
The best days racing always started like that .

Birds chirping, couldn't imagine living anywhere without bird noise.

We bought our house on the outskirts for just this reason.

Sitting on the patio in the morning sun in the summer watching and listening to the birds and not thinking about anything else is my favourite thing to relax.

Also my 3 month old's beaming smiling at me when he suddenly realises I'm there. Before havig kids I totally underappreciated just how utterly awesome this would feel every time he does it.

Reminds me of my karting days. I love the smell of 2stroke in the morning, it smells like victory.

Home made bread, still warm from the oven. Costs less than a quid and is one of the most pleasing things.

Been there a few times! Most notably about 10 years ago I was driving back from Plymouth to Poole in my 528i, and my range went from 0 to ---, at the time there was a stage of fuel panic buying and I went to two closed fuel stations before I found one that was still open. Must have done 25 miles with --- as my range mad
werdly no signage for stupid people in or entering yellowstone national park that gas stations are quite few and far between, never twigged till i realised i only had enough fuel for 90 miles and i still had a few mountain passes to up and down, squeaky bum time as i put it in N and coasted down the twisty roads to save gas, made to a pump with 11 miles in the tank.

Queuing in the chippy and mentally adding up the cost of your order and then having the exact right change to hand over.

Hitting the petrol pump bang on the £X0.00
( without using the new cheat buttons that are appearing)
And then going over by one or two pence, as I then find it easier to find the fuel purchases on my credit card Coutts* card bill.

*nearly forgot where I was then

Do that aswell, live locally and enjoy blasting round that roundabout sometimes. B4000 from that roundabout back to Newbury is good if you fancy really getting your toe down, watch the small joining roads though.

In Caterham circles, the Dartford Tunnel is known as the Dartford Symphony Hall. smile
