How quaint.

Tension control bolts are a far more convenient way to achieve the same results.

I despise HSFG bolts, and you can shove your indicator washers where the sun doesn’t shine. Hateful things.

I've always been a big fan of the old 1/2" NPT. If it doesn't seal, just wind it in tighter until it does.

The M2.6 screws in the Kyosho Optima steering assembly. Just because a few years ago it took me forever to find some replacements.

M8 hex or cap head, soooo much sexier than standard bolts, and M8 is just the right mix of strength and vulnerability.

Exactly! Then the inspector tells you it still needs 0.0002" off the top of the seal profile as the cutting tip has slightly worn.
