He also assassinated a federal judge, which so happened to be the first federal judge to be killed in the 20th century.

On April 16th 1912 Harriet Quimby was the first woman to fly the English Channel.
However her feat of girly derring-do was overshadowed by the hoo-ha about a big liner losing
an argument with a huge lettuce in the north atlantic.
What a bummer.
Poor Harriet can't catch a break, a few weeks later she jumped
out of a her stalled biplane at 1000ft. and was killed, had she stayed with the aircraft
which glided down and landed in mud she may well have survived uninjured.

I want four of these. I'll train them to cling onto my car's
instrument needles and go a different colour. Red for top
of the rev range, NSL and coolant overheat and yellow
for low fuel.
So what you’re saying is that it would be easier to train tiny chameleons to recognise car problems and change colour accordingly than it would be to install a digital display and get it working properly? Ah, fair point. As you were. instrument needles and go a different colour. Red for top
of the rev range, NSL and coolant overheat and yellow
for low fuel.

Interesting. But her jumping didn't make sense, so checked. Wiki, FWIW, says her and passenger were thrown out when the plane pitched down unexpectedly. Fascinating all the same. However her feat of girly derring-do was overshadowed by the hoo-ha about a big liner losing

Saw this on the TV last night...on the 10cc song "Im not in love" it was felt odd that one of the band should sing/speak the line "Big boys dont cry" so they asked the recording studio's secretary , who was passing, to do it
10cc’s Mr Blue Sky ends with a synthesised line hardly comprehensible - ‘Please turn me o-verr’’.Not much good if you’ve just downloaded it.

The Boeing 747 is longer than the Wright Brothers first flight. (It could have been Alcock and Brown's first effort).
There's a rude but funny joke containing the words Alcock and Brown that I remember from schooldays ,but it would certainly cause the PH mods to girly swoon as it strays deftly into 2 if not 3 PC areas of offence.
