Texted to me from a bloke at work:

We are a week into self-isolation and it is really upsetting me to witness my wife standing at the living room window gazing aimlessly into space with tears running down her cheeks.

It breaks my heart to see her like this. I have thought very hard about how I can cheer her up. I have even considered letting her in - but rules are rules.

In a similar fashion to the NHS appreciation the other night, tomorrow there will be a request for everyone to stand on their doorstep and give a clap for all the delivery drivers out there doing their bit.

The applause will take place any time between 6AM and 9PM.

I thought I'd introduce you to my anti C-Virus minder.

Meet Boris, who's standing guard at the door. He's ex-SAS (Special Arachnid Service) and
is trained to detect anyone entering that's infected. He goes for the throat first.
