I am pretty sure I managed to take the award of the last haircut in my town before lockdown. Should be able to last me about 3 months before I need to start charging the clippers...!

My last haircut before WFH and lockdown involved a somewhat enthusiastic girl in a barbers I don't normally frequent.
I left looking like a US marine, cursing said girl.

Now, the cursing has been replaced with praise.

The BBC’s Will Gompertz did a piece on David Hockney yesterday. His barnet is starting to get slightly out of hand, not in the middle though. By the end of this I think he’ll be looking like either Bill Bailey or at best Terry Nutkins.
I am slightly more bald. In three months I will probably look like a grey-haired version of him wink

You asked. I deliver
You look better with the new cut, but older, were they taken around the same time?

I think that it doesn’t look bad at all, mine is shorter than your before photo, but I like it marginally longer than your after photo, I like to get up, maybe smooth the sides down with my hands, and that’s it.
It’s getting to the stage that I can’t do that now, instead I have to not completely dry it after I’ve showered, and plaster it flat with a hairbrush.
I’ve leaned on my wife to help, but she says that she’s frightened she’ll fu*k it up, and that I have no right to have that much hair at my age anyway, why can’t I be a slap head like her father and brother?
I tell her that I must have good genes, but she gets the zig all over again.

I haven't bothered with a haircut for about 10 years. Before that a number 2, summer, number 4, winter, done by myself. Its taken all that time to reach my shoulders and stop growing, the main difference now seems to be its getting very grey.

Still trim my beard, nose and ear hair nice and neat.

My clippers are fully charged. Both my sons have been dealt with, as have I. My wife is now sleeping with one eye open!
