Really enjoyed the few hours we had in the pub beer garden today, chatting to new people and having a good laugh. beer

Sorry, I had an afternoon session too smile
I might have just about forgiven you if you'd included a photo of the rather excellent ONJ.

Took a blast out down Southsea sea front. Drove through Albert Road (a road littered with pubs, bars and restaurants). At 6pm it was already in full swing. Loads and loads of people out. Idiots. But it'll be the same lot who will winge when they fall sick and blame it on Borris and.the conservatives.

Common sense. Thankfully my locals are a little quieter. Not that I'm going out.

Yeah no. They’ll be fine so long as they’re under 65 and relatively healthy.

It’s Southsea - invariably living with parents and the elderly.

We've just got back from our favourite bar.

The staff were wearing masks, there was a weird atmosphere.

It wasn't busy.

We bumped into some old friends. The woman was terrified about everyone that passed in case they didn't social distance adequately.

It wasn't the experience I was looking forward to.

Went to my partner's pub today for a drink with her, and it was really nice. Locals all distanced but catching up, and I'll be honest, I've missed a good draught beer.

Not too busy but busy enough to keep thinks going. A positive experience that gave the illusion of things being normal again.

Gone to Cornwall for a break, so far very pleasant, arrive at pub, shown to table, waitress service, much better than before.

Not seen any excessive behavior, but not in a place I'd expect to either.

There were just 2 new cases in Hampshire on Thursday. I wouldn’t be too worried if I were one of the pub goers there today.

The taverns are fair full of gadabouts making merry this eve. And though I may press my face against the window like an urchin at a confectioner's, I am tempted not by the sweetmeats within. A dram in exchange for the pox is an ill bargain indeed.

Don't know what's so funny. 137 people died yesterday because of Covid. The gathering of people is only going to increase and accelerate the number back up again.

Not in Southsea it isn’t. Coronavirus is as rare as rocking horse st in Hampshire so don’t worry.

137 people died with Covid, a subtle but important difference.

Also, it’s not going away. Which is why we are seeing a return to normal life.

Feel free to hide away, but don’t judge others for pursuing a normal life.

I can judge all I like. Just like I do those who smoke or are waddling down the road after eating McDonald's.

Its pretty sad state of affairs when going to your local spoons is returning life back to normal at 9am

It takes one person. It's not like it goes "well I've spread to 2 other people today, that'll do".
