I see we've moved to the new computer based application form, just one little, teensy, weensy problem I can see with it, will the quill still work on a computer screen????
Battert is working tirelessly on an electronic quill for instant hand/screen authorisation.

Did the lights go dim where you are at about 10.35 last evening? That was him. I'm sure he'll report on progress when I fetch him from the Cottage Hospital.

Excellent stuff!!!
I see we're adding more and more waivers to the application form!!! It's a sad sign of the times that we have to have so many!!!!
Gone are the days when you could staple an applicant to the restraining chair by his ball sack, shave him bare, cover him in treacle and then allow Lionel the Lynx to lick it all off!!!!
And also, if you feel up to it, tell me about any vivid dreams you've been having.

My wife tells me it's a bit annoying when I 'scrape the bowl' of cereal, porridge, soup or anything else I'm eating. I deny it strenuously. However, I've just realised that a bowl I use occasionally is marked by spoon usage.

I should destroy the damning evidence for it is discovered.

TV Sub-Titles Accidentally Offer Covid Cure

Instead of Social Distancing the sub-titles on my telly decided what is needed is Social Dance and Sing.

I'm all for it. The singing anyway. I couldn't dance to save my life.

Chunky - I'm going to have some 10th Anniversary Mugs made similar in concept to tea or coffee mugs but bearing a witty motto as yet undecided. Could you alert the pioneer Trivialites in any of the Trivial Splinter Groups of this occurrence in case they would like one?

Suggestions for Trivial Mug Mottoes gratefully received.

Sitting outside all shiny and not getting used.
Don't drive around with your race numbers on the spoiler. If someone reports you, you could lose your competition licence.

Serious Face - I am absolutely overwhelmed by the comments.

Could someone lob in some anti-matter to level things?

Mug order noted.

Trivial Face - lemon drizzle cake under construction here.

Still some way off for the mugs. The 10th Anniversary is at the end of July. All being well they will be made and distributed by then.

Interesting post from Slopes. The unwritten history is now ununwritten wobble

Hopefully TT is a more friendly place now.
My old fella used to say to me, "You live in a dream." Most of what slopes was talking about missed me completely. My apologies for that. Too wrapped up in my own stuff probably. One of the strengths of TT to my mind is its ability to support several conversations simultaneously. That one of them was unnecessarily hostile while I was pursuing a different one comes as a surprise to me I'm ashamed to say. Mind you, I worked in oil and gas for forty years and some wind ups would have led to court cases in other industries. If I'd clocked it I may have thought it was just bare knuckle banter.

Were you watching when Mrs Brassington 'misunderstood' the principle underlying the Trivtion Nature Weekend and frightened all the Scouts including Akela?

Unsavoury chaps arriving with photographic equipment. Poor show.

In those same circumstances here it's usually the smoke alarm that rouses the others.

Jeeze yikes if that went off I would be in trouble! It didn’t get to the smoke stage... just the burnt toast smell. The toaster popping up can be enough to disturb her slumber! rolleyes
You don't allow the smoke alarm to go off? How do you know when stuff's cooked?

Dicky, can you put me on the mug list please?
Slopes - don't go, stay in the TT tent. Where else can you catch up with watch batteries and burnt toast? I rest my case.
The TT 2020 Mugs List will be commenced in earnest this very day.

Faintly remembering taking notes, he looks around for scraps of paper each possibly bearing a name, a nickname or a username.

That's not a good system, Dicky.

No. No. There are improvements that could be made, I'll grant you that.

Get a laptop.

Got a laptop.

Use it.

Foo.
