It's worse than you thought. The last time it was painted they used long life paint and rendered the expression, "It's like painting the Forth Bridge," redundant.

I like the sound of these pools, got me thinking. I could put a liner in the shell hole from Bommas last misfire.

Thanks Bobbers.
By the way, the Photoshop thread is very funny and frequently prompts "What are you laughing at?" from Mrs WS. Who'd have thought an innocent remark about FFS's could have spawned a new sub-culture?

Morning all! wavey

Did you know that today is the very first anniversary of this very day last year?

Just goes to show how quickly things change, doesn't it?

I remember when all of this was just a brownfield site...

Morning all, would have checked in earlier but was stuck on the E30 track car thread.

Dicky, you are indeed correct about the forth road bridge.

I did a job about ten years ago bring the scaffolding boards they used down to Stoke.

Dozens of loads, 25 tonnes at a time. Most fetched out of a yard in Glasgow.

The boards were much thicker than Norma ones, the guy that bought them paid 1.50 per board.

He made bespoke furniture with it.

Is that an early Sting album?

What's on the other side, Scrump?

Something Dead Boring by Sheryl Cro?

Somebody just sent me this:

No, not the T-shirt. Just the image. rolleyes

But it got me wondering:

Should he really be wearing a collar and tie, or should he be in a boiler suit?
Or a stovepipe hat and nipple tassels? bowtie

Morning all bounce

I can't think where this crater is that's going to be made into a swimming pool?

I know there's one near Doggers' lay-by on the Upper Trivton Bypass where a Harpoon anti-ship thing landed prematurely but it's quite a hike, we'd need to organise some sort of shuttle bus.

Anyhow, I'm not sure it's the sort of place to spend an afternoon by the pool, there's some rum types hang out over there. That and the honk from Barry's Burger Van.
