This isn’t all of them...

Compressor reissue (sorry it’s out of focus, I CBA taking it out again). It’s second hand but basically as new. The bracelet hasn’t even been unwrapped or sized.

And a “vintage” Accutron, which compared to most stuff nowadays is tiny!

I don’t have one, but the Bulova lunar watches always get recommended. I think Greendubber from the under £200 thread has one. They have actually been used as space watches, I seem to remember. They can be found sometimes for much less than RRRP as well.

Why do need so many watches? confused

Argh.... got it. Long arm of the law. yes

You’re nicked, son. Crimes against... something or other.

They’re all a bit different. I have stopped myself from buying stuff. They would all qualify for Bobbers’s “Under £200” thread over in watches, with some costing much less than that. Apart from the Sinn and the Farer...

I notice in the first photo a pair of knee straps Dibble. I've been wearing the same for work this last six month's to help stop my cartlidge's from popping out, which is extremely painfull and especially on a regular basis.

They help. The Velcro is on the way out but I've been impressed by them.

I think the mrs got them from the states.

Cheers. I’ve also got a Dan Henry 1970 in the orange, like this one:

https://danhenrywatches.com/collections/vintage-wa...

I really want a Farer Hecla aqua compressor in the blue. They seem to have come down in price since I last looked...

https://farer.com/products/hecla

My “grail watch” (kill me now) is a Sinn 856 UTC, but I’ve yet to “pull the trigger” (make the death slow and painful) on one. Some “wrist time” (then hunt down my family) with it as a “daily driver” (kill everyone I know) would be where it’s at...

roflroflrofl Properly made me laugh that did, especially seeing as you know how I feel about those phrases!!!!

StuntmanMike it was very funny!!! hehe

Well it's done, I've "pulled the trigger" rolleyes on it, ordered from a shop rather than through Ebay, but from the same seller, but as I went through the shop I got a 5% discount which made it £325!!!!

Jolly good, I'm pleased for you old boy thumbup

One thing though, I really wouldn't wear it to your birthday party. "50 Bumps" is going to be quite an ordeal, we certainly wouldn't want it damaged.

Thinking about it, the telehandler's going to get a pounding too. I'll give it a look over in the morning, make sure the old beast's up to the job.

Probably a good idea Bomma, although I thought we were going with the "Drop Bobbers from the Sunderland onto a trampoline" approach!!!! yes I was quite looking forward to a repeat performance!!! bouncebouncebounce

Earlier on step daughter #2 brought some shopping in for us. Mrs C checked dates to see in what order we would eat stuff.
"What's the date today," she asked.
I looked at my phone.
"The fourteenth," I said.
"The fourteenth?"
I looked again. 14 07. 14th July.

Or possibly seven minutes past two.

Capital idea old chap. Have a chat about it with Captain Robbo, I'm not sure things went totally according to plan last time out.

I'll no doubt find some pressing business to attend to on the ground, though I do look forward to watching you have a good bounce.

From the comparative safety of the Control Tower roof, probably.

You could clad it in wood!

You know! Like a wooden shed.

A bit softer to look at like.
