I should really have gone next door and started, but I'm struggling to raise any enthusiasm this morning!!!!

Same here.

I would have thought so as well bobbers, we have a fire stick in the bedroom.

The kids have smart TVs so I wonder about them.

In the back is my TV, that runs in conjunction with my PS4.

The TV in the living room, dunno, no one really uses it, or the room.

Second coffee then take Magnus Mastiff brain of Britain a walk.

Edit: PS4 works biggrin

Great drums on that track. At a guess Roger Pope?
Nigel Olsson.
You are 100% correct. Don’t know why I said Roger Pope. Pope did a bit for him but Olsson was his guy.
Oh, come on. We could have kept that going all evening.
To keep it going, Ringo Starr is now 80.
And still not the best drummer in The Beatles.

I always get Cosy 'Powl' confused with the gum chewing skinsman of Slade, Don Powell. Are they, by any chance, related?

I always say that Pete Best was the best drummer in the Beatles, but Brian Epstein had other ideas.

Morning all bouncebounce

Had a lovely day yesterday, went over to Cromer we did. Even found a little place that sold dressed crab. Nom Nom.

Had an interesting conversation with a young fella on the seafront, proud owner of an orange Vauxhall Corsa in fact. It was sporting an exhaust the size of a biscuit barrel and a set of "Mekong Ditchseeker" runflat tyres. Well, I hope they were runflats, they certainly looked flat to me. He wandered over to greet us:

"Alright mate?" (I suppose that should be m8?) "My m8's got one of them"

"What, a long haired female dwarf?"

"U wot m8? Nah, an R1"

"Oh, that's nice, they're good bikes"

"Yeah, it can't keep up with this tho" (gestures towards the Tango Turbo) "Undred and twenny in third, got a big valve 'ed an' bin remapped. Nuffin can out-corner it either"

"Blimey, sounds a bit special. I'm sure it must match your needs"

"U wot m8?"

Thankfully, at that point a chap in a Fiesta ST parked up and our new friend made a beeline for that.

"Alright m8? My mate's got one of them..."

Ah well, there we go. Anyhow, I'm going to pop over and see Dr Gleadle in a bit. There's nothing new wrong with me, I just thought I'd see what the old bugger's up to. Might try the B&L at lunchtime, see what "Specials" Frank's got on.

We'll see how it goes.

Brian, of that parish. The Beatles Manager until sadly found deceased at his Belgravia home in 1967. The band called him Eppy. And an American TV host once told him to get lost.music

Dressed crab. That must have been a sight to see, especially as they would have been in their Sunday best.

Indeed, it was a splendid turn out. This fella even donned a hat for the occasion:

I gather that they are both nephews of Enoch by different mothers.

But the Best Drummer in the World Award surely has to go to "Animal" from that awesome group Tbe Muppets.
Some say that Ginger Rogers modelled herself on him when she paired up with Freddy Starr.

Morning all. wavey
A late start for me this morning, I had a bit of a lay in to try to overcome the trauma of knocking over that large glass of red wine yesterday evening. :shudder:
I'd rather shed blood. Not Portaloo blood though. That's the wrong colour. More like Rioja than Tempranillo.

I'm feeling rather concerned for poor Stuntman Mike, he should have told his neighbour to mind his own affairs.
"I want you to swap your chimney pots over because that one looks like it might be cracked."
yikes WTF??? Seriously? Would you like to pay for the work to be done? No?? Then why don't you just fk off and MYOB? irked Tosser!

music Neighbours! Everybody needs good neighbours...

ION, It has been dry this morning up until now. It has just started to drizzle very lightly.
I can tell by the odd damp patch. And no, it's not because of my age. How very dare you for even thinking that! nono

rofl That's great Bomma, but your post is nothing without pictures.

Of the dressed crab. Nom nom nom! lick

Edit: Oh. I see you already have. Please pardon me.
I think I'm getting too old to keep up with all you young chaps.
But don't you worry about me, just carry on. I'll be okay.
I think I'll just sit here for a bit and catch my breath...

Are there any Trivialites who live near Chelmsford and fancy a drive to somewhere between South Woodham Ferrers and Maldon to pick up an eBay purchase for me?
Long shot but I thought worth asking!

Sorry scrump , Cheshire. frown

In other news I have just had a parcel off the post lady.

Blonde, always in shorts, pleasant, about forty and very very easy on the eye.

Oh and btw.

Thanks for the comments on what I should have done yesterday.

You are all right, that was a tipping point for me. Not entertaining his fantasy’s any more.

The one time I left my garage door open and unattended I lost most of my power tools. A distraction theft; one bloke asking who did our fences and another bloke in the garage helping himself. I could live with that; my fault. What really got me was losing a lifetime of drill bits.

That’s horrible Dicky. I remember my dad cleaning out his car and the phone rang, he went in to answer.

Came back, no Dyson.

This was in the nineties before he emigrated, Dysons were the thing to have then.

We laughed about it, he saw the funny side.

No funny side to what you have described Dicky. frown
