Dogs fast asleep and a huge bumblebee has landed on him and stung him. frown

Didn’t think they behaved like that.

Good afternoon chaps.
Mmmm Cromer crab dressed then undressed sublime.

Cromer was a weekend jolly for us lads back in the 70s then a nice casual holiday with my kids in the 80s and 90s.
Great memories.

Our holiday home neighbours should arrive shortly from the uk. Looking forward to seeing them.
They owe me money.

Mavis is recovering very well but still taking the antibiotic's for another couple of days.

Brian, of that parish. The Beatles Manager until sadly found deceased at his Belgravia home in 1967. The band called him Eppy. And an American TV host once told him to get lost.music
Packed a lot into his 32 years, owned a Maser Sebring for a while amongst other fab four wheeled goodies...

In The Rutles version of the story Eppy '(Leggy Mountbatten') didn't die, he just accepted a teaching post in Australia instead, at which the Fabs were ''shocked and stunned''.

His last visit to Abbey Road to see his boys, in June '67 during rehearsal for the 'All You Need Is Love' TV special....

Nice! smile

Are those the ones they advertise on the Home Shopping Channels and demonstrate at the Classic Car Restoration Shows?
The ones that can drill straight through brake discs, brick, concrete slabs, glass, tungsten, armour plate, bone, granite and fish fingers all in one go without the slightest hesitation?
With a lifetime replacement guarantee should you manage to blunt one or snap it? Even if you abuse them using immense pressure and drill speed, with the tip smoking & glowing cherry red?

I have often been tempted, but the lifetime guarantee probably isn't worth it for somebody my age. scratchchin

Quite possibly glenrobbo, apparently they can be used as a punch too!!! yes
We used TiN coated at our place, but only if we can't get a full carbide in the correct size!!!

Well I've finished all the emulsion in the room, just the glossing to do tomorrow, which is good as that gives me two days to get some of the stuff done at home!!!!

Taking up fracking or are you going straight for oil?
You will need a Stetson and a big belt buckle if you want us to take your new venture seriously.

It's not really a good time to be drilling for oil.
If you strike it unlucky, you have to pay to get it taken away.

Recently, IIRC, Best Brent Crude was trading at minus $9.00 a barrel. eek

One contract I was on had an American oil man as Project Manager. He wasn't the big easygoing Texan of legend, he was a tough little guy from Saaaath Carra-lahner. I heard him introduce himself umpteen times and it was always the same. "My name's Bond, James Bond. Please call me Jim."

Are there any Trivialites who live near Chelmsford and fancy a drive to somewhere between South Woodham Ferrers and Maldon to pick up an eBay purchase for me?
Long shot but I thought worth asking!
I am planning to take Percy on a trip to norf Essexland sometime in August, if that's any use?
What sort of size is your purchase, Scrump?

Mind you, it's a fair schlepp from Hedingham to SWF/ Maldon though. And then you'd have to pick it up from Cheshire. Unless I dumped it at Pushfit's gaff on the way past.

Haven't you tried Wells Fargo? Jim Hardy is quite dependable despite many nefarious characters trying to get the better of him.
Mind, he may have retired by now. Or gone to that Wells Fargo head office in the sky

good that you bought them from UK Drills. Then you get the benefit of far too frequent email offers for more drills bits, which if you acted on even 5% of would enable you to open a well stocked drill bit shop.

Doesn't surprise me one bit they're trading at a loss.

Hi BigBen, good to see you almost fully recovered after your initiation! thumbup

What have you been up to with Nurse Gladys?
She likes getting her hands on a nice fresh patient. wink

I notice that you are only 15 minutes from Chelmsford by Aeriel Atom.
I wonder if Scrump's thing would fit in it?

Although his best bet may be to have it delivered by trebuchet relay. scratchchin

Anyway, it's time to get my dinner on the go:
Fish on Friday, isn't it?
I'll poach myself a nice bit of smoked haddock and have it with new potatoes and garden peas. Maybe a poached egg on top. Yum!

I was once given a recipe for fish in parsley sauce, something to do with boiling a fish finger inside a used condom I think.

Never tried it, I hasten to add.
