Henry Cole did this a while ago on a 'Find it, Fix it, Flog it' programme.

If I had the space and an ECV I'd definitely get one.

Custom job or is someone actually making these?

I love that charger.

I'd like it hooked up to an old American barge with an EV conversion.

Oh.
I like that. Having frivolously ordered an electric mini (should it ever arrive) this would be rather nice instead of the boring charger currently there.

Meanwhile, I was scrolling Instagram earlier and an advert for this popped up. Have resisted thus far, but can't see it for long:

The problem with those is that I want something about 8 times the size, for the same price.

It is smaller than I first though, but I have a fascination with weather clocks and that was the screen that was on it on the advert.
The ultimate weather clock, the one I've coveted for years though, is this, in copper:

Funnily enough, thats what him indoors said. For extra extra frivolity, there is one that shows tides as well. It's very nice. I live 120 miles from the coast biggrin

That's them. Excellent people to deal with. I recommend them.

I've got one of these. I'm a sucker for pointless "analogue" toys.

Is it reasonably accurate?
My late father had a barometer, he tapped the thing regularly but I never saw it point to anything that wasn't rain biggrin

Please say no, please say no… it would help me resist smile. But then again I can’t think of anything much more frivolous than a £400 weather displaying wall clock that doesn’t work properly biggrin

In England that'd make it reasonably accurate, much as if the clock bit stopped.

I got past that obsession by buying a weather station (Ambient Weather WS-2902). The frivolous part was to add a weather camera to it which adds an updated still pic to the dashboard, and automatic time lapses of the stills.

Haha its as useless as all barometers really. You may as well look out of the window but there is a certain satisfaction when the weather indicated by the clock aligns with what you see out of the window smile

Define reasonably smile

Its always exciting when the clock changes its prediction and it contradicts the reality outside the window.
