Not just me then smile A remote controlled vampire would probably win a frivolous purchases thread.

I did my jet training on Vampires, hence my desire to have a nice one.

Sorry at 83 I am not that competent with computers so can't post photos, however you will find that I bought at Hobbyking.com

Seconded, I'd love to see that!

If you're feeling extra frivolous, may I recommend a flight in the real thing? I was lucky enough to be treated to it as a 30th birthday present from the family last year. Pilot/owner Mark is a super nice guy and the aircraft is mind-blowing to experience in agility and performance!
Be aware though - if, like me, you ask for the "full airshow routine" you will be quite airsick by the time you land hehe

How much was that?

It was about £2500 for a genuine 30-35 minutes of airtime, plus the on the day cost of approx 1500lbs(!) of jet fuel. About the same as a Warbird experience but a far, far more dynamic flight!

There is also the idea of cloaking an RC drone in a halloween grim reaper costume and flying it through a graveyard (or past an old folks' home?) hehe

Before you posted that link, I would have bet cash money that Sisters of Percy was going to be first to post, that they had one tucked behind the Boba Fett in the spare room.

Ha! I do have a remote control speeder bike drone somewhere, but I'll pass on a bat.
Useless information.... actually terrified of bats. Ridiculous phobia I realise but there you go.

I've been decidedly unfrivilous for a while, but I do have Star Wars celebration coming up in April, plus another Disney Paris trip in May and some thought I might head to Disney World in September for a big birthday. I was looking at Grand Prix packages for Abu Dhabi and Vegas but even I can't justify the enormous costs to cheer Max on once every minute for 55 laps biggrin

That said, am currently looking for a Chasing Dory underwater drone. Very mixed reviews so don't really want to buy a new one just in case it wont do what I want it to do but the only ones for sale are half the country away.

My toddler poured a pint of water over and fried my previous keyboard.

Does £190 for a keyboard count as frivolous? laugh

If you’re going to use it, it’s not frivolous.

If the toddler isn't now becoming Harry Potter by living in the cupboard under the stairs - frivolous.
