Worth getting fitted for one if you can. I think M&S do free alterations if you need them.

This is a Huddersfield based company that makes the cloth for many brands including Hugo Boss.

They have a retail shop including shirts and a selection of suits, prices are always competitive and less than your target price.

You will need to check the current position with regards to opening but I know that a number of people travel some distance to buy suits.
Great company, great service and fantastic product from these.

Check out the chicken place (Marstons) that is just along the road if you visit, it's amazing cloud9

Reminds me of some scribblings on a toilet wall where I worked once:
"Doing a good job around here is like pissing oneself in a cheap dark suit,
It gives you a warm feeling, but no-one notices."

From those that have bought from here how much would a typical suit cost from these guys?

For work I normally buy mine from Next as they seem to fit me well and then for special occasions I'd buy higher end.

However I like the history behind this company and would rather support a local West Yorkshire business

From memory mine was towards the lower end of their quality scale and I think it was around £280 from memory but this was for 2x pairs of pants and a matching suit jacket. They did some minor alterations for me included in this too. There was plenty of choice and the scope to spend much more if you wanted. This was about 4 years ago.

I used to get the mid/higher end Next stuff at around the same price and there is a noticable difference in quality between them.
