Good morning everyone.
I trust you had a logsom sleep Glenrobbo? After necking that lot last evening.

I'm sleeping badly this last week or more 11pm till about 3 or 4 am and that's about it. I may have to cut out the afternoon snooze.
I've an annoying pain in my back above my rear ribs and its waking me at times. Absynth?

TT CLOCKS GO BACK REQUEST

Should anyone see Battert hell bent on twisting the sundial a few degrees please remind him it is already set to GMT and anyway the last time he tried it Sundial Surprise Ltd of Upper Trivbourne charged £347.30 to reset it citing a "Special Mortar Mix" surcharge.

Thank you.

Lower back pain Magoo? It won't be Absinthe causing it old boy, though a drop will help to relieve the symptoms.
Try a pint after breakfast, might be an idea to have it with a lemonade top during the day just to take the edge off a bit.

Anyhow, anyone seen glenrobbo this morning? I need to speak to him, the Chief Constable's been over asking some awkward questions about the verger.
Apparently, some residents of Trivton in the Mire reported "some sort of firework display" over the lake last night. The verger's pushbike was found embedded in the smoking shelter of Trivial Mutual Insurance in Trivhampton some 11 miles away, there's no sign of him but his Fitbit was recovered and showed he'd taken 212,453 steps at an average speed of 6,437 MPH.

I told the Chief Constable I'll ask around, see if anyone can shed any light on what may have happened.

Oops.

Morning chaps, happy Saturday to one and all!!
We're off to pick up my new glasses at lunchtime, then a spot of luncheon, pick up the shopping and then round to friends this afternoon/evening, they've kindly offered to cook and spoil Mrs Bobbers for the afternoon!!

Nothing worse than a niggle in your back Magoo, the problem is that everytime you move it wakes you up!! frown

Good morning all! wavey

Yes Magoo, I slept like a chainsaw thanks!
I did have to get up at 05:00hrs* for a wee though.
Actually, I suppose I didn't have to, but I don't like wetting the bed.
Yet.

* BST

I didn't have much to drink really, just four pints and a few whiskies.
It's strictly for medical reasons, you know. angel
Anyway, somebody's got to keep the brewers and distillers going.
I consider it more of a duty than a pleasure... bowtie

I've been thinking about that sundial, Dicky.
With these dark evenings and longer nights on the way, don't you think it's about time we got one with an illuminated face?
It would save having to take the torch out every time you want to know what time it is. scratchchin

With the decline in interest in Mounted Lacrosse should we move one of the floodlights to Sundial Corner?

Thanks for the tip-off, Bomma! thumbup

Like you, I know absolutely nothing about the matter. whistle

But we do need the Verger's reconaissance report on the honey otters.
I do hope he managed to extinguish his cassock. From a distance, it looked iike the Red Arrows in a loose Diamond Nine.
I think more cable ties next time.

Fit bit? I never associated the Verger with that sort of malarkey.
It just goes to show what some people get up to, doesn't it? wink

Did it have a max altitude read-out?

It's certainly an idea that merits more thought, should we put it before the committee after we've submitted detailed evidence supporting the alterations required showing how the repositioning of the floodlight will enable 24hr use of the sundial and not impact the usability of the mounted lacrosse field, or, shall we just rip it up and stick next to the sundial first thing in the morning?

The Committee opted for Brawn not Brains but due to a misunderstanding are pulling together a team of retired Formula 1 mechanics living in or near Brackley in Northamptonshire. I fear they may be a little overqualified.

Excellent, it's good to know that the committee are taking these things seriously, it's about time too, I mean to say, who thought it would be a good idea to turn the walled garden into a giant swimming pool?!?!?

They could easily have press ganged a gaggle of local lads with the promise of a pint and an introduction to the younger Miss Greenfield who has never been keen on the whole debutante ball and coming out thing and would prefer something more in keeping with the times.
