If they start getting a bit uppity, let me know. I can impress upon them their errors from across the border.Iotn Edinburgh is ok, you can visit the former royal yacht britannia etc but i much prefer the Highlands as there are less people about and the ones that are about are generally welcoming.
Unlike......Jedburgh for example
Sticky lollipop?
Naughty Robbopops!
Morning Trivialites!
Still live & kicking here oop norf.
Here we go again!
Or not.
I finished all of the Tullibardine. It was lovely while it lasted, but now it's orl gorn.
Is sad.
But I bought a bottle of Famous Grouse in my home delivery last Sunday, purely to bring up the total to exceed the minimum spend, you understand.
And on Tuesday the girl next door gave me a litre bottle of Grouse as a thankyou for putting out and bringing back her bins every week.
I told her that she was a very naughty girl...
But I liked her.
No need for that sort of behaviour.
So now I have just two litres of Famous Grouse and a bit of Glen Marnoch Speyside to tide me over the next couple of days or so.
I'd better keep an eye out for some Infamous Grouse or even some Lesser Known Grouse.

Morning chaps
A fine night's sleep has left me feeling refreshed and upbeat this morning, we have no plans for the day other than me catching up on all the rugby, so no spoiling it for me!!!
Re your thoughts on Scotland slopes, we've been many times to many different places and while broadly accurate we still very much enjoy staying in Edinburgh, when we go next year we'll be staying just outside Aberdeen, but we've been as far up as Glenmorangie and low down as as place called Eaglesfield which is not far from Ecclefechan, our favourite place in Scotland is a lovely little Victorian mining village called Pitlochry!!!

Just to clarify in active military service now..and in the book in 1960.
People are on the right track with their ideas...as a hint one air force seems to nearly have half of them....
I'd wager either the USAF or the Ruskies, I wouldn't have thought anyone else would have the resources to keep very much 60 year old stuff serviceable even if they wanted to.People are on the right track with their ideas...as a hint one air force seems to nearly have half of them....

My absolute mostest favouritist spot in Scotland is Fort William.A fine night's sleep has left me feeling refreshed and upbeat this morning, we have no plans for the day other than me catching up on all the rugby, so no spoiling it for me!!!

Close enough to the ski range, Glen Nevis isnt far away and has an unbelievable road to get to it and the hike round the other side if the Ben brings up quite the surprise.
Its close to Skye
It isnt too far to get to Aviemore
It's close to Ardnumurchan to watch the jets playing lets see how close we can get to the ground without hitting it.
But the Highlands are great all over and some of the Borders holds significance

Applecross is nice. Unlike......Jedburgh for example
And I like Torridon.
There is a little seafood restaurant at Kylescu which I will never forget: their langoustines were to die for.
But the great thing about the Highlands is the roads.
Even better than the whisky.
No, I never combine the two. It would be sacrilege to spill any.
We went through Fort William on the way up to Invermoriston when we stayed on the edge of Loch Ness, amazing scenery all through there, loved watching yachts and boats traversing the lochs at Fort Augustus and there was a fantastic bothy right beside the lochs that did the lost incredible venison casserole!!! Really missed going to Scotland this year and massively looking forward to going next year, while we've stayed in Edinburgh three times there's still a lot we haven't seen, we've done both the castle and the palace, I've done Real Mary Kings close, we've done Britannia and next year we want to do the Royal Botanical gardens!!!
Just been speaking to my neighbour, they've moved up to Downton and are selling the house next door, he's here just removing the last of their stuff, he can't get a tip slot anywhere near him, I took my phone out and got a slot for Tuesday so we just moved all his stuff into the boot of the Rioja Blue Racing Focus!!!

Went to the pub for a meal last night.
The landlord was saying the new lockdown means more beer will have to be thrown away.
I did my best to ensure as little Doom Bar as possible was going to be wasted.
My head is a bit sore this morning.
Throw beer away? I'd rather lose blood! The landlord was saying the new lockdown means more beer will have to be thrown away.

The measures don't come in until Thursday, so plenty of time to save all that beer from being wasted.
Or buy a few barrels and take 'em home.
I'm worried about who will exercise the poor drey horses during the lockdown?
Poor Bobek and Bojo, Trooper and Captain.
Those magnificent beasts rely on us needing regular beer deliveries to maintain their muscle tone and state of equine wellbeing.
They love to get out and about bringing everyone liquid joy and something for the roses.
