No No! There's no way of properly cleaning Volume 35.

It's in a disgusting state, riddled with innuendo, dirty trucker juices, gender fluids, Covid and general smut.
The best we could hope to accomplish is to seal it up in a triple layer of Visqueen, pop it in an old waterproof mattress cover from a Holiday Inn, then bury it in the big pit that Battert has dug round the back for the next coach load of Chinese tourists, fill it in and cap it all with a 12 feet thick concrete dome.
Then decontaminate all personnel involved with the procedure, burn all their clothes and issue them with those white hazmat overalls and blue vinyl gloves before dunking them all in a Jeyes Fluid sheepdip bath in the Scrungeon.

I'll supervise from the control room via video link.
Don't be concerned that the live feed looks like a looped recording of the Teletubbies /Clangers/ In the Night Garden.
