I can only assume my victim wasn't happy with the box of goodies I sent. No pic posted and not so much as a line of text feedback.

I thought I'd done well to get a couple of very personal gifts and a few little treats on top but I must've come up short. DIsappointed face.
Name and shame!
But that would reveal the secret part.

It’s been an odd year for that. I’m sure you did fine but it’s nice to be validated!

Oh crap. Hope it wasn’t me. I’ve just realised I never posted any photos of my awesome gifts.

I’ve been rather distracted of late with family stuff and whatnot. I even took photos on the day.

I’ll post some now.

(Even if it wasn’t me, I agree it’s bloody bad form of me and I shall flagellate myself later on in punishment)

So you'd rather I didn't;t post any photos of my excellent gifts, just so you get to see photos of my bleeding and abused back?

(why am I even asking?)

biggrin

Anyway. Photos to follow.........

(of the gifts, I reserve flagellation images to my patreon subscribers)

So, despite Covid and Brexit doing all they could to prevent any packages from arriving in Holland from the UK at or around Christmas, they all finally arrived and that included my, hotly anticipated, PHSS package.....

You will notice that I didn't get any stroopwafels - that's because I'm resident in the Land of the Stroopwafel (tm).

I did' however get some very well though out gifts as follows:

Some Audi S4 dustcaps for my Audi S4. Well, maybe for the Mini Cooper. I like to mix things up a bit smile

A very silly, very smelly game. We are desperate for lockdown to be over so we can invite some friends round to cause them utter disgust. After all, here in Holland we are used to the biannual bad smell and flagellation games.

I've wanted some of these for years! ALso, my mountainboke needed a better emergence rear light and this is perfect. My son is bemused. He's seven.

Last but not least, a copy of the original US patent for Lego. This is bloomin' brilliant - I'm waiting for the shops to open to get a decent frame for it. It satisfies my near obsession with Lego (just ask my wife.......) as well as my professional curiosity.

Overall, a fantastic selection of gifts and a lot of though went into them. I'm truly sorry about the delay. I partially blame the latest Safari version on OS X Mojave as it won't let me upload anything which prevented me from uploading the original images I took when I opened the package but that's no excuse.

Thanks again PHSS!

They are bloody great presents! Thanks for sharing!

On a separate note, does anyone know where I can get more of these booze and chocolate jaffa cake without the jelly type things? They were incredible, would recommend...

Well I guess to answer your questions I'll have to out myself as 2nd time PHSS and 1st time home brewer, if you discount the time I tried to do a 3 week cider kit in the 2 weeks my parents were on holiday when I was 16. Fortunately this batch didn't go as badly as that one and so far nobody has become violently ill.

Is the wine home brew? Not sure if it is luck or very good stalking, I do quite a bit of wine making but don’t think I’ve posted about it outside a closed FB group!
I can't recall the source (Here I think as I have no facebook account) but there was a post I read about your FIL being a wine snob and liking your brew so despite protests from my other half that we only had 30 litres of the stuff I sacrificed a bottle for you hoping you didn't think I'd taken a cheap option with a home made gift.

I’ve just cracked open the bottle of wine my PHSS gave/made for me for Christmas - bloody hell, it’s good!!! If this is home brew, I have to get your recipe for it, I’ll beg if needs be, pleeeeeeeeeease!!
So glad you like it, nice to have a 2nd opinion. As above it's my first proper try having found a local blackberry stash on a bike ride I had no idea what to do with 20KG of fruit. So after the making more jam than I could eat in a year and realising it's cheaper to buy the stuff I turned to booze.

This is the site I got the recipe from but the link I had is broken and it appears to be missing some of the instructions not that I followed them religiously and I missed reading the gravity at the start so I just allowed it to run until fermentation stopped and I left it in the demijohns way longer than I needed to as it took me ages to collect ~40 bottles that all looked the same so I'd started in 2018 . It was a little dry as I'd let it ferment presumably until all the sugar was gone so I did sweeten some of it with a little local honey(not sure if you got one of those or the dryer ones).

I’m not one to risk a bottle going off overnight - if it’s open, it’s gone - but I couldn’t waste that on one night! Bloody wonderful stuff smile. Thank you again for all the prezzies, the torch gets a lot of use!

A parcel arrived today with some jars and what appears to be a book which will be put under the tree (when it goes up) to be opened at Christmas.

As instructed these were opened and there were some interesting sounding chutneys together with my fave piccallili from M&S, which I know I've mentioned on here before.

The banana & sate bum jam sounds intriguing as does the lime pickled flavour anal lube. hehe

Cheers Santa! thumbup
I hope I wasn't the one named above for not posting as this could have been missed as it was late November. frown

Anyway, truth is these have only been opened recently and have to say the lime one is superb, nice and hot and very moreish.

Wasn't sure about the banana one as I'm not a big banana eater, but it goes well on crackers and was surprisingly nice.

We both like the orange one, lovely with a bit of chedder.

All three now in the fridge. smile

Yeah this. Can't please 'em all and it hasn't put me off going again this year if someone is stupid/brave enough to take over from the esteemed Captain.

Memory stick contents

This won't mean much to some, but meant the world to me. Background - I've waited 20+ years to see rage against the machine live and finally had tickets this year... only for covid to hit.

The memory stick contains RATM live videos and recordings, truly outstanding!

Also contains the from a2b series, pure nostalgia

Outstanding santa, I will be watching all I can tonight starting with RATM, after their Christmas #1 a few year back it seems appropriate.

fk it, watching it now, woodstock first- LOVE THIS st!!!!

I've just watched the last of the live shows this rainy weekend, bloody brilliant - I have to confess I watched a few of them a couple of times.

Just thought I'd say thanks once again to the SS who looked after my presents - still enjoying them in May is quite an achievement.

Which set was this? I got the ‘Curry Legend’ set/book and it’s ace!
