Severe squall line expected today. South of a Hull to Cardiff line most likely.

It's the same closer to home. Very wet, and very grey.

Puggit has gone on holiday by mistake.
Well, Hayling Island was a mistake. I think the dog is getting the most out of this trip!

SeeFive - what's there to do in Port Solent?!

Just been hit by that insane squall line in East Berks as well. Only a few cracks of thunder though. Looking at Blitzorg there is a LOT of lightning just to the North in Bucks / Herts right now.

Thunder in late October, nice.

Pug, any hail in Hayling ?
Just sideways rain!

hehe

Had planned to mooch around Gun Wharf today - but as it's an outdoor shopping centre, we're at home now!

Definitely some high pressure on the horizon - but it may be a fairly short affair. Nevertheless, some cool nights and fog!

Long range forecasts for both CFS and ECM pointing towards a Scandi high during early December (ie cold easterly winds for us...). To be taken with a MASSIVE pinch of salt, but who knows...

What website is that picture from? I'm looking for a decent weather app.

Heavily raining in North London, was initially dry this morning.

Netweather radar comes as an app too (as does Netweather snow radar...)

Ex-hurricane Zeta is the star today. Western coastal areas bearing the grunt, especially GetCarter land.

Friends in Atlanta were hit hard by the remains, floods, trees down, power and cellphones out.

This is the last one for the current conveyor belt!

Cooler weather is going to be quite a shock after these temps.

Vicious little squall line just passed through the area at school drop-off time. Nice...

Some weather chart porn for mid-November starting to crop up. Scandi high, cold easterly winds over a warm north sea - snow machine.

If it's still there with 48 hours to go, I'll be sure to warn you hehe
