Should have said, we did have it nearly a week before the thaw kicked in smile

We still have isolated snow patches/runs here in NE Suffolk.

Some surprisingly long stretches, in ditches, up against hedges and along roads which were subject to drifts.

I'll grab a photo or two tomorrow, when I walk the dog, if they're still extant.

It’s a shame how quickly the snow has disappeared, even from higher ground.

We lost our whole 6” in about 48 hours.
As I approach 60, I'd be delighted to keep a solid 6" for 48 hours smile

Another amber warning for South Wales- rain.
Yep lashing it down and looks like its not easing of till sunday. Brecon looks set for over a 100mm of rain the river taff was starting to rise when I left work wonder if it will get higher than it did last month. Currently at 2.3m hit 4.2m in jan and pretty much this time last year hit 5.4m and caused a massive flood in the area.

Still a covering in the forest sheltered from the worst of the wind but only patches and drifts left on open fields and around the garden.

Noticeably warmer here in West Berks. Pleasant day out with lots of walking. Dry (sorry to those getting dumped on).

There was a breeze and it wasn't cutting. It was great!

Yup, Bucks/Ox border... had my morning coffee and a vape in the back garden in jeans and a t shirt. I could actually feel the warmth of the sun.
Much greyer and “meh” today. But still have all the windows and doors open, it’s bloody lovely.

I just walked 5 miles through the countryside without any need for a coat here in Surrey. It’s glorious in the sun!

It's blowing a bit in Leicester, just had a five mile stroll round a park in shorts and sweatshirt without getting hypothermia, so it's warm enough, just properly windy.
