I'd be happy if it stayed like this all year round. Perfect warm cloudless sunny spring day. (East Berks).

It was very frosty early on though.

It barely snowed here. The rest of colorado, including my colleague a few miles north, got 14". We got....about 3. FML.

That storm seemed to stay eat of the Rockies as we only got a couple of inches. It's snowing fairly hard up here this morning though.

It tried a couple of times today, but only a couple of light flurries.

Which was a relief as the heating decide to be pissy today. Leaks now fixed, I'm ok for it to snow again.

14c in Boscombe, not a cloud in the sky and feels like winter is over.

Try doing that in the Derbyshire Peak District, a row of campervans and folks sitting outside enjoying the sun and the view? Plod would have a fit and throw the book at you. No way could I pootle out in my campervan and do that here in Derbyshire.

Nasty frost overnight but it's very sunny today. Still a bit nippy though.

Well the thing about Boscombe is that on the surface with the sand, the sea, lovely promenade etc it looks incredibly blissful and scenic. But if you walk just 5 minutes up the road it’s full of crack heads, drunks, Eastern European thugs.

So basically the Police have much bigger fish to fry, we were back in the same spot today and never saw a single copper, beach/traffic/covid warden or any kind of council official.

Much colder today, the breeze was colder, didn’t stop the kids from having a great time though.

The spaces filled up soon afterwards, the pipes are there for dredging the sand out of the sea to replenish the sand that inevitably disappears over the last few years.

What are the chances of a beast from the east type spell in March this year, like 2018 and 2013? In both of those years we had a very decent February only for it to go back to deep winter for a week or two.

There is the possibility of some cool interludes as the weather becomes more unsettled - but as I posted a few days ago, record high Feb temps in Scandinavia and Germany prevent any potential of sustained cold.

I'm a bit glad of that. We had a lovely spring last year, and it made Lockdown 1.0 feel much better. Hopefully we have similar this year. After a record number of BBQs last year, I hope to beat that this year!
