I thought April was famous for showers. Think it only rained once and not much.

I get the impression May might make up for it!

The rain finally returns. And after begging for it for weeks, I already wish it would bugger off.

The local news has just been on for the north east England possibility of snow on hills,
winters not giving up without a fight. hehe

I'm just glad that it's tomorrow that I take the Atom for a service, rather than today.

Looks like mid may on for any signs of warmer weather for Wales as long as it's nice from the 17th as I got a week of.

Puggit, why have we had this mass of cold air over us for so long? I really can’t remember it being so cold right into May, with April being pretty much a write off...

Realise it’s due to high pressure, but is there a blockage in the Arctic or something? Jet stream switched off?!

Snowing up on the Cat and Fiddle. Then rain, then snow. Can't make its mind up!

Pretty much - high pressure over Greenland. If this was Jan/Feb we'd be relishing a cold spell of significance. The jet stream is also south of the UK, meaning we're sat on the cold side frown

Early indications are the 2nd half of May will be better...
