'points' or 'percentage points' - just say percent, or write %

Biden is 8 points clear of Trump - I'm never sure when I see this if it does mean % or it's something else, made worse by me reading it as pints smile

'The Science' and Scientists

The previously esteemed title/term has been subjugated by politicians and journalists to such an extent that no-one believes anything anymore.

Mainly on American YouTube channels when they open and greet you:

"What's up guys?"

Errr, you're not going to get a response from anyone.

"World beating"

Especially in the context of the govt trying to deliver something that they have no chance of doing, let alone doing well.

Jeremy Corbyn shouting we are not a racist party we despise it and root it out quickly

And then discovered not to be the case.

And then Jeremy Corbyn rubbishes that finding.

Genuinely get annoyed at the word shielding or shield. Ever bump into anyone, that's the first thing theyll interrupt you about. "IM!!!!!! shielding" like a badge of honour or something, all while actually being out and not shielding anyway. The isolation of covid is worse for them as they SHIEEEELLDD. In reality they dont even want to listen to you anyway. Attention seekers.
