Conspiracy theorists... are they all just a bit thick?

OddCat.
Interested in what you think actually struck the Pentagon?
Serious question.
I doubt they will be back, just like CarCrazyDad who said I had my head in the sand about ‘The Great Reset’ and then disappeared when I asked him to explain and educate me. Interested in what you think actually struck the Pentagon?
Serious question.
There’s a theme here, once you get into the detail.
Even Popular Mechanics debunks the Pentagon nonsense…
https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/a5659/de...
….along with dozens of other sites aimed at re educating Americans of the demographic who believe The Walking Dead is a documentary.

I'm disappointed OddCat appears to have already flounced, I'm fascinated by the psychology of this kind of thing and curious to try to understand what's going on in their minds. But they seem to scarper as soon as they are presented with some facts, so we don't get much further with trying to ascertain what's going on with them.

There were a few interesting insights... the repeating of the line "I really wish that I thought the world was a fair and honest place..." which suggests to me that believing in the outlandish deep-state style conspiracy is more important that any facts.
Which most of us can readily accept without believing that 9/11 was staged and that the Chinese released Covid onto the world because, um, reasons.

It is a revealing phrase. Because, of course, we all know that the world isn't a fair and honest place.

I suspect CT folks are so wedded to their beliefs that they simply can't deal with having them challenged. The question is, why?

a massive airliner really did manage to crash horizontally into the Pentagon - but, miraculously, made only one hole where the fragile nose made contact with the wall but not two massive holes where the engines hit the wall.
Just a small amount of sensible neutral research will quickly debunk that particular conspiracy theory.
As a starting point, excellent article below by 767 pilot and writer Patrick Smith:
https://www.salon.com/2006/05/19/askthepilot186/
Let us know your thoughts.
I'm not persuaded by this at all.
I am, though, interested in him saying this:
"OK, I'm genuinely curious about why the surveillance tapes from the Sheraton Hotel near the Pentagon were confiscated, and why their contents were never made public"
And one shonky bit of footage showing an 'object' but that's about it. I'd need a clear piece of footage of at least the plane approaching the Pentagon.
What amazes me is that people aren't even open to the possibility of foul play. Like I said, I wish I believed that the world was lovely.
Anyway, this is clearly a "bash anyone who doesn't buy the official narrative" thread (I should have known from the title) so it's not for me.
I'll let the self congratulating gullible have their thread back now !
You need to understand the cctv cameras would have been installed by a friend of the state governors for the most absurd amount of money at the lowest possible quality. That there was even one frame from a potatoe quality camera is frankly staggering.

Paper thin aluminum vs reinforced walls is why you don't get a airplane shaped hole.

OddCat has flounced, so I suspect any more facts will never be heard.
