Oh. I know it's a Yiddish thing that pretty much means "yikes Fut Me!" but I'm not sure beyond that old boy.

I don't want to boast, but there was a time i was in great demand at that particular location, queues there were, queues i'm telling you!!!! yes
Admittedly it was for bare hugs and nipple tassel twirling, but queues none the less!!!!

An update on Mrs Bobbers holiday destination of choice for next year.........................Harrogate!!! eek yes, i realise this wasn't on the original shortlist but there is a logical(yeah right!) reason for this decision, you see Mrs Bobbers is a HUGE Agatha Christie fan, she's read every book , watched every film and television episode , and has a couple of biographies, we've visited Greenway her home, and now we're going to stay in The Old Swan hotel in Harrogate where she disappeared to in 1926!!!!
Harrogate is a nice place but expensive, especially Betty's tea rooms. Aso worth a visit if you have the time is Knaresborough for Mother Shipton's Cave and or York.
If you do go to York, the Railway Museum is free to enter and is worth a visit.

Count yourself lucky she's not a fan of 'Bram Stoker otherwise you'd be holidaying in Whitby, or Transylvania!!

Gotta be a reference to Lionel Stander aka Max in H2H?
Nope - might have been something he said but not what i was thinking of

Bomma - nope, it might be relevant to Spurs fans but it's not what i was thinking of.
Must admit I thought Bommer had nailed it, but no!

I'm stumped and despite gargling the phrase, I'm none the wiser?

Oh boy!
Robert Wagner played the character of Number 2 in the Austin Powers movies and in one he uttered that phrase when Dr Evil was announcing his latest plan.

Stuntdogownerfella - nowt to do with me confused

Harrogate? Stayed there for a couple of nights with Mrs B some years ago.

TT Top Travel Tip: If you happen to own a Turkish, be sure to take it with you. There's a bath there especially for them.

'Tis a lovely little place Bobbers, I'm sure you'll both enjoy it there.

When you go to York, use the Park n Ride, parking is a nightmare to find and expensive too. The Park n Ride is great, we use it when we go there. There is a York Brewery not too far from the Railway Museum and used to be worth a visit for the tour. Betty's is also in York and there is usually a queue outside it but the one in Harrogate is the bigger and better one but not cheap.

Oh and there is a little Italian Restaurant in The Shambles in York that does incredible food and if you do go there, see if you can find the Devil in Stonegate but apparently it's unlucky to look into his eyes!

Gosport isn't that bad, i moved from the south east to Devil's Island in Doncaster. So called because all the locals were scum of the earth less forgiving of southeners and i survived 5 yrs there, so Gosport is quite a nice place really hehe

As the day draws slowly to a close, I have been mulling it over with a glass of fine single malt, and decided that it's been a good one
Definitely a big improvement on the preceding one
From this, I can deduce that we are moving in the right direction:

If each subsequent day is incrementally an improvement on the one before it, we shall eventually progress to a succession of days that are marvellous and the pubs will be open again.

Let us all gather in prayer and prepare to welcome those days of great joy and rejoicing. bow

On that note, I bid you all a fond goodnight! waveysleep

Morning chaps wavey
It's Friday!!!!
Sadly this also means it's going to be a long day for me!!
As Scrump alluded to a couple of pages back, I've bought the new Lego Creator Porsche, there was supposed to be a collectors pack available for VIPs if you ordered early enough, Lego emailed to say when they were releasing them early for the VIPs and then screwed up by releasing them early resulting in the flippers swooping in and snatching them all up, so I emailed a complaint and received a nice email back apologising, doubling my VIP points and sending me the Speed Champions version free of charge, I already have the set so I'm taking my free one in for one of the guys I work with for his kids!!!

Never mind.
