When I was younger I had naughty thoughts about Mary Hopkin.
Oh yes! Those were the days my friend.

She contributed an important part of the backing vocals on David Bowie's album Low. Seventy four seconds into the track Sound and Vision she sings Doo duh-doo doo-doo, doo duh-doo doo-doo, dooee-ooo. Which, as you can appreciate, was key to the success of the album.

She was married at the time to Bowie's producer, Tony Visconti.

Is it too early to award myself Monday's TT Trivia of the Day?
Now I know it I feel I can definitely hear it's her the slight welsh lilt on the end of the ooh is unmistakeable

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!

What a day. New launch codes received from Littlesofty Corp that didn't recognise my 'British Welsh (Taiwan)' keyboard on the Manor MasterController comptroller contraption.

@@@ was nearly the 'End of all Mankind' but, fortunately, I was distracted by a post reporting problems with a Panzerwagen catching fire. Mine lets water through the rear speakers.

I'm buying British next time!

My day has gone to ratst!!! grumpy
Picked Mrs Bobbers car and bought it home, sorted out the electrical issues, ECU board in passenger footwell gets kicked and the connections need snugging back home, then I thought I'd try replacing the injector leak off pipes............what an absolute fking pig bag of a cock sucking ball ache job that is!!!
Managed to break the new leak off loom, lost ALL of the spare locking pins I bought, managed to get the old loom back on but it's leaking even worse now, going to have to admit defeat and get it to a garage!!! frown

At least you tried Bobbers. Too many people won’t even attempt things themselves.

Evening all, long day today and another long one tomorrow.

I think it’s last day with current student Wednesday, I’ll miss him we have had a right laugh.

He plays golf locally to me so I’m going to dust off my bats and get up the driving range when this st is over.

Seriously fed up with these lockdowns now, so is the wife.

I'd not heard anything of the old devil since he was involved in the Embassy siege?

It'll be good to heard what he's been up to.
Incidentally, the Embassy siege he was involved in was nothing to do with the Princes Gate business. No, him and the Brigadier broke into the cigarette machine in the NAAFI at Catterick.

Small world but I wouldn't want to paint it with a two inch brush.
Ahhh yes Catterick, what a wonderfull place that was rolleyes

Golf, you say, leaking panzerwagens in my opinion, and would be, at least, deserving of a clubbing.

LD4 (aka the Brazilian) is gonna be a very tricky 'sell' unless the weather reverts to freezing cold winds and rain from here on!

Thanks Scrump.
Well I've managed to "bodge" it all back together, I've reused the old leak off pipe loom, used the new/old retention clips, and following a comment from one of the chaps on the thread about my shonky old Focuseseses put cable ties around them "to be sure!!"
And it looks like they're not leaking at the moment, now we need to decide whether to bother spending the money getting it repaired or just keep monitoring it and run it as is until we can replace it!!

Add some duct tape to the cable ties and it becomes a permanent fix.
