Why wouldn't you want an ex G4 prison bus in your garden?

If the mum is living from pot noodles and starving? Why is she so fat ?

I suspect the odds of her ever having been into Louis Vuitton are nil.

Tat from the market: yes.

My guess would be this is someone who doesn't quite get it and they're saying Loads of love

Anyone have a parrot?

In my defence, it's Monday morning
Any bird kept in a cage (unless it's a *pigeon) is council. Bonus points for big colourful birds (parrots) not native to the UK.

With the right modifications it could make a kennel if you've got half a dozen dogs.

Oh wait.......

Have worked for G4S, told you I'm council smile

I remember the interview, what's your waist and chest size?

Oh you've karate on your CV, that won't be useful. Are you afraid of dogs? No, good, you're going to spend a lot of time walking one. The most vicious bd of a dog I've ever met but I was glad not to be on the wrong side of it. It's training was limited to anyone not in a G4 uniform is dog food. Doberman. It wouldn't even let me sleep on the job, fker, but I did eventually like it.

It was a student summer job. Sitting in the back of the van on the way to the sites with a bunch of alcoholics telling you the first twenty years are the worst does serve as a reminder that I'm glad I was born with opportunities.

Have we had Miller and Carter added to the council list yet?

We tried it again, this time for mothers day.
It was still the same. People in full tracksuits, baseball caps everywhere, ladies with puffed up lips, babies/toddlers with tablets blasting out the latest episode of Peppa pig (one kid was called Prada)biggrin!!

A couple of boss man number plates in the car park along with a blacked out range rover parked right next to the door even though there were 50+ empty spaces.

I actually quite like the food and the service is always good but why does it attract these type of people?

Last time in there they put us next to a table of 'caravan' tourist type people. They all kicked up a fuss after they had 3/4 finished their meals saying how bad they were and how the burgers and chicken meals were full of gristle and they couldn't eat it so they weren't going to pay.rolleyes

Why do you keep going? A leopard doesn't change its spots. There must be many other, better restaurants than some chavvy chain that only attracts pricks and 3.14ers. Is it worth going to a sthole just because it's local and 25% cheaper than a standalone? M&C does for steak what Nandos does for chicken.

I agree. For a chain the food is pretty good. Out one has a sign saying, smart casual only, shirts must be worn, no shorts, no sports shoes (although that is widely ignored). That sums up the demographic of their customer.

I think the fact that it's steak/meat appeals to the BOSS plate drivers. There's no way any of them would go fine dining with tiny portions.

Express - Miller & Carter customer 'refused entry' for 'wearing a tracksuit'

The link above was posted in a Facebook politics group I am in. Some of the comments are accusing them of snobbery. One of the comments was, "I remember going in with jeans on and a top and was given hacky looks by the staff and some customers. Found it rather uncomfortable Think I will stich to spoons in the future."rolleyes

Look at their locations, almost all steholes. Tells you all you need to know, the comparison with Nandos is unfair given Nandos are everywhere and attract generally all demographics. It isn't pretending to be anything other than semi fast food.

Miller and Carter are owned by Mitchell's and Butler's who also own Harvester and Toby (among others). But I have to admit my nearest M and C is pretty good and haven't ever come across any BOSS number plates or 3.14 unlocking devices. YMMV.

I was in a bar once where I watched with amusement the barman refusing service to a bloke in a tracksuit. The bloke in the tracksuit was at least 60. Every stereotype. Beer belly, red face, looked like he'd had a few for breakfast. He took offence at the refusal of service, got no sympathy. The bar had a no tracksuit policy (tells you a little about the area it was in). Sometimes prejudice is a shortcut way of avoiding problems, easy to point at the sign and say you're equally biased towards all tracksuit wearers. I'm 100% sure the bloke would have been a problem and the barman handled it professionally. I've been a barman, I don't miss it and never will.

A few years ago, I was working at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, doing condition surveys of the buildings. When my colleague and I were walking to the café we were using as base-camp, we decided who was paying for the brews by guessing the number of expectant mums we would see stood outside the maternity unit having a fag.
We got out of the maternity ward after having our daughter a few days ago.

As we left noticed the (stinking of weed) presumably father and a midwife having a go at the mother for vaping in the postnatal ward...

That`s when we went to our local one. Got there just after they opened and it wasn't too bad. Food and service was good and the only other customers seemed to be business types.

Or the worst as that’s when normal people are at work.
