I am not a crisp eater, but even if I was, the woke advert for these would rule them out for me.

All the 'women's fashion' magazines seem to simply reinforce the idea that they need loads of makeup, botox, etc. to appear attractive They never seem to think of asking the people they think they are trying to attract what they think of the ludicrous extremes they go to

I have had a look and as far as I can tell it is either the fact that most people in the advert are people of colour or just the presence of Gary Lineker.

Not sure why anyone would have a problem with either of those things, especially as he has been their spokesperson for years.

Perhaps woke is not the right word, and I was being a bit grumpy and over sensitive here. I freely admit I am not their target audience, but I am getting a tad fed up with this relentless attempt by advertisers to be terribly inclusive and correct and it puts me off buying their product rather than encourages me. No offence intended!

I seem to be inadvertently leading the council thread off topic, which is another of my pet hates, so I will simply say I can't see what the Walker's ad is trying to achieve and I don't think it works on any level - just my personal opinion.
