Its funny how different people have such different views on things. She, for example, thinks it's 'out of order' that they are dropping the payment by 20 quid. I however, think the thing about this thats out of order is her smashing out 5 kids with another one on the way with no way to pay for them herself. If she was a dog she would be neutered
We waited until we could afford kids before we had them. We stopped at two because we didn't have the space, or the money for more.

Its her right to have children. It shouldnt be her right to expect society to pay for them.
its a weid one really, because the Gov has a legal resonsablity for the kids, ergo society does pay for them. That is why you have poverty traps and kids born into similar situations who have kids themselves.I think it is complex situation with no real winners.

I disagree with many of your posts, and I am usually screamingly-socially-liberal, but you are bang-on here. Good point.
You still have that Hugo Boss SS officer's uniform in the back of your wardrobe for 'special occasions' though, right? The Spruce Goose said:

Its made more complex than it needs to be because of the beurocracy of our welfare system and the failings of society as a whole. I think it is complex situation with no real winners.
I've no problem with welfare supporting those who can't help themselves.
Bunking off school at 14 and getting knocked up by some similar aged bad boy who does a runner isnt a case of "cant help themselves". Certainly once older when they repeat the same thing again and again - coincidentally getting pregnant just as the last kid goes to school and DWP come after them to look for a job is no accident but deliberate. Same as mentioned above about one of the 4 kids will have some disability diagnosis after massive parental pressure. Accident or deliberate to avoid the benefit cap?
Sure some may give birth to damaged kids due to unhealthy parents, drink, drugs, inbreeding, bad gene pool etc leading to a higher incidence of disabled kids but thats going to be a small amount. Its not like some asian communities that have silly high disability rates due to inbreeding. I suspect a significant amount of them are parents seeking a diagnosis for financial gain. However no one will have true figures of that as its not like they will admit it.
Unfortunately, we need poorly educated, low achievers to breed more poorly educated, low achievers to fulfil the roles in society which make life easier for us all. Just think what a state the country would be in if everyone was a pointless middle manager!
The cost of that requirement though, is that some of that cohort will slip through the net and need state support.
It's a strong case for the return of workhouses, for families which can't get their st together themselves.

Dozy bint probably thought she was cool naming her son after a figure in Greek mythology, sadly Khaos was a GODDESS! So even more opportunities in the future for taking the piss at school.
The word khaos means "gap" or "chasm, which is probably a fair description of her fanny after baby number 6
I know someone with a Springer Spaniel called Chaos. Great name for a dog (especially a spaniel). Not great for a kid (I suspect it will be a fair bet that he lives up to the name). The word khaos means "gap" or "chasm, which is probably a fair description of her fanny after baby number 6

We generally had tenants saying to us: can’t pay rent due to Covid.
But wait we say: feck all has changed for you. You didn’t work before, you’ve now got an extra 20 quid and you can’t even go out and spend it.
As for this young lady, can you imagine the millions the state will spend on her and her family over the next two decades? I already know they’ll be endless support services involved no doubt trying to keep them on track. I guess the 5/6 dads are long long gone.
The times I’ve dealt with families demanding 4,5,6 bed houses: the answer is simply no. Barely any about, statistically it will never ever happen.
But I have 4/5/6 children.
But that was your choice. How/why do you think a landlord would be able to help ?

I think the balance has gone a bit wrong on that one. What was it recently? 5 million "unemployed" and 1 million job vacancies? That's quite a lot who have slipped through the net unfortunately. The bloke with the grey mullet in the same article who can't get a job stirs a twang of sympathy in me, but I would very much like to see just how hard he has been trying to find work and expand his skill set. I would wager not very hard and not very hard although I'd love to be proved wrong because then he would deserve some help and support, in the short term. The cost of that requirement though, is that some of that cohort will slip through the net and need state support.

The system incentivises the Khaos's of this world, there is no easy answer but I raise your workhouses with forced adoption and forced sterilization for the stupid and lazy as a solution.
Tough choices for a government, which is why they just put up taxes on those who actually have a job instead. That's pretty "out of order" in my opinion
