There was a boy at my sons nursery called Thor.

What an utterly awesome name and common in Scandinavian countries.

My sons middle name is Fox.
I know a Norwegian chap names Hauk (not sure on the exact spelling)

His daughters are called Raven and River

Edited to add that they are not at all council.

Probably got another kid called Anadin to help with the pain and suffering.

I saw a kid called Sailor on a list recently. I wonder how long he'd been at school before the others started saying "Hello Sailor"

Thought exactly the same biggrin. Loved that film, watched it many times a very very long time ago. Not revisiting in case I change my mind...

Anyway, doubt that phrase is in the kids' lexicon. Also, they've all got 'odd' names these days so Sailor will be quite normal.

Fair enough. Times change.

What about naming your child after a Star Wars character?
I overheard someone at one of the scensoredthole estates I was delivering to calling out,
"Anakin, come here". Council?
You sure it wasn’t:
“Anna, ***kin’ come here!”

Years ago my children attending swimming classes. There was a little boy there called tiger.

Well spelt. Tygr. Of course.

I felt so sorry for him when the instructor was shouting out. Tiger. Really ? Tiger and then we’ll spell it Tygr. Wish I could remember his siblings name: it was something equally mental.
Fyyt?

So, being council will cause his turning to the dark side? Is the first step in becoming a Sith Lord shoplifting and a bit of TWOC?

on the steps - obviously explains his aversion to the high ground

Parking in a busy residential street near an airport and calling an Uber for the last mile = council royalty.

Double points if the family complain about other peoples parking habits.

It was a PH post about a newspaper article a few years back, where people were doing just that and piling their cases into Ubers.

I was reminded of it by a recent post as it’s fits the council mantra perfectly.

They will also likely be the same holiday family who
crowds the boarding gate entrance
Gets up a 2am to put beach towels on a sun longer, before going off all day on a trip.
Complains that nobody from the hotel is looking after their kids while they sunbath.

Actually not a twin (or not as far as we have been told) … a very odd disturbance in the council fabric of life.

The Axle is purposeful - it is indeed purported to be AXLE not AXEL or AXL - I assumed the latter to be corrected.
My daughter’s name is Alexandra (note not Alexandria as I was keen to avoid council) Rose Surname

It was only when my brother bought her a bandana for her first birthday that I realised my mistake…biggrin
