I was in sports direct yesterday buying some more high end designer kit…

Girl on the checkout had combed back hair, then a tattoo of flowery hair where her fringe would be if it was not combed back

My three year old had questions, they were similar to mine

I'm at a loss for words. Sat in the middle of the road, rattle-canning calipers in-situ.

At least it looks like they put a bit of masking tape around the brake disc. I'm just thankful My white XK is parked at the other end of the street.

Loads of my mates did that when 19 odd

No prep, 2 coats within a minute or two, then never cleaned them, would always be a daft vibrant colour as well

Just made the car harder to sell to any sensible buyer in the future

Looks like she was probably quite pretty before all that work. Very sad.
Still, as long as she’s happy with it.

Additional proof that women with blue hair are always mental.

Yep, Mrs Marky went fully blown "electric blue". I laughed, our 32 yr old sons laughed, their wives laughed. But we were all wrong. She has gone purple now. nuts

They really are - and curiously they seem to think it makes them more appealing!

'They'

'Them'

Judging women's decisions based on your definition of 'appealing'

I mean, we all love the occasional supercilious post, but really...?

I mean this is the Council thread:

supercilious
adjective disapproving
UK /?su?.p??s?l.i.?s/ US /?su?.p??s?l.i.?s/

behaving as if you are better than other people, and that their opinions, beliefs, or ideas are not important:

.#irony

Kings Lynn.

Fascinating history, some great old buildings, but start at Aldi and walk down Anglian Street to the historic Tuesday Market area...

OK, it’s a dock area and pretty poor, but still. Eye opener.

Patronising women as you believe they are too weak to look after themselves. Very 1950's council, Mr Cholmondley-Warner.

What a catch.[/quot

Surely doing st likes this drastically reduces your job opportunities..
I expect people that look like this aren't really interested in getting a job.
Unless it's in a tattoo parlour.

I think the figures bandied about are that around 13-15% of the UK population has some form of mental illness. A study found that rises to c.40% in people who colour their hair in bold/lurid colours (and I'm not talking about people going a different shade of blonde, chestnut or using Just for Men to hide the grey).

Stop being an utter white-knight bore (maybe try your virtue signalling over on Mumsnet, they'll love you over there) - you're reading way more into a single line than was written, to engender your own agenda.

"They" was used to describe a collective of people - this is the correct usage

Im not basing anything on my preference at all, I made no reference to whether I found it appealing or otherwise as frankly that's irrelevant - I merely suggested that those who utilise 'lurid' colours for their barnet appear to do so on the basis that it makes them more appealing - that could be to themselves, to others, to inanimate objects, etc.
