718 Cayman from OPC for £40k in 2021
Discussion
As per title of this thread - do people think that a PDK 718 Cayman will be available used from OPC for under £40k in 2021?
None on there at present, but as my birthday, which I’m saying this will be a treat for, is not until towards the end of the year anyway there’s no massive rush. If not then perhaps an order for a new base spec one to get it delivered in time for September, though that will be £50k+ with decent options.
Part of the reason for asking about buying from OPC is that I’d likely only have the car for up to two years (I usually fancy a change by then) and so the car should be covered for warranty and service for the lifetime of my ownership.

Keep in mind those these are really only very low thirties cars.
Last summer I looked at a couple of OPC car in the low forties, ended up buying a better specced car privately for very low thirties. Was less than 3 so had the balance of the OPC warranty. Extended it at it's first MOT for 2 years for another £1500.
OPC seem to have similar numbers across their cars - 7/8k - at the lower end of the market like this, that's a significant percentage to lose in a short time.

Ha, yeah, I had PDK selected, as that’s preferred, so 0 were showing.esuuv said:

Good advice. I hadn’t quite thought of the age like that, with £1500 seeming reasonable for the extra 2 years warranty.OPC seem to have similar numbers across their cars - 7/8k - at the lower end of the market like this, that's a significant percentage to lose in a short time.
