Personally, I wouldn't want to work for the sort of company which uses interviewers who would take appearance into account when interviewing for a purely technical role anyway. So in that regard I'd consider being rejected out of hand by that sort of person as a positive not a negative.

That's fine, but it's undeniable that face tattoos limit your chances of work.

Personally I would be put of by someone who makes that life choice. To me that are demonstrating that they don't think ahead, or just don't care.
