I'm guessing it's because the pull tab has come off with the lid, meaning he'll have to risk life and limb with scissors or an inappropriate knife prising the seal off.
Also its a pain in the ass to get the little tab out of the lid as you don't want it falling into the milk when you screw the lid back on.Cotty said:

It’s like sauce bottles, I don’t even bother pulling on the seal tabs... Just run a small knife around the inside of the neck & dispose.( Haven’t injured myself... yet).

Be careful with that devil-may-care attitude. It reminds me of a fella who decided it was too difficult to remove the perforated cardboard circle for the tap on a wine box (remember them ?) properly, so he'd just stab it with a sharp knife. Such a waste of mediocre wine.
The people that grab a knife to cut the tape on a box, you only need to use the tip... or use a key.Edited by Milkyway on Sunday 26th March 22:54

Reasons your GUI may be sh!t;
- It needs an "application launcher" (everything)
- Icons need labels saying what they are (the wastebasket being a 'good' example)(everything)
- It has hidden options accessible only through the keyboard (macOS)
- Doing the same thing in different places has different effects (Yes, Windows drag'n'drop, I'm talking about you - and all the Linux distros that have copied you, so the user has no idea if D'n'D is going to Copy or Move)
- Rather than exposing the UI to the user, it tries to hide it all away for a 'clean' look (Linux XApps)
- Any part of it is animated when not in use (web browsers)
- You have to 'hover' over things to find out what they are
- It is impossible to distinguish between buttons & decoration (Android, but increasingly everything)
- When you do 'hover' over something in order to find out what it is, nothing happens

And to add to that, icons on mobile devices that mean nothing but you can't hover over them so you just have to tap on it to see what it does.- It needs an "application launcher" (everything)

Androids recent trend for wanting to make all the icons look virtually identical so you can no longer see at a glance what something is.
Windows and it's complete inconsistency. You click on something on the nice new pretty Windows 11 interface only to be greeted by a dialog box that appears to have been designed three decades ago.

...and names for icons that aren't intuitive. For example googles "Play store" rather calling it Android or Google Store, and Allianz's health insurance app which is called "My Health". One of my credit card providers have an app called "Credit Card" which does make some sense, but not when other providers use the name of the bank. The banking app from the same bank used to be called Banking but they have changed it to the name of the bank now, which was an annoyance when they did it and I had to remember which icon to look for, but it does make more sense now.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
