That's been badly fitted. Some sort of halfwit did that, I reckon.

wink
And double posted by some Doofus hehe

On a serious note... People who mount things smack bang in the centre of their windscreen. I'm not talking about a dash cam hidden behind or beside the rear view mirror but usually a phone mount vertically centred below the mirror... In the exact place where they need to be looking for traffic. Boils my urine.

"Alexa, play 'Something' by the Beatles"

"Shuffling songs by The Beatles"

"Alexa, play 'Something in the way she moves' by The Beatles"

Microsoft Word's "Protected view" which it defaults to for the myriad of things that need to print for school or various things.

"Be careful-files from the Internet can contain viruses. Unless you need to edit, it's safer to stay in Protected View."

Ah that's fine I don't want to edit, I just want to print.

File->Print

"Printing is not available in Protected View"

Or that what you think you know isn't right, that's even more worrying.

When a newspaper report refers to one of these...

...as a 'fighter' then it's pretty obvious they haven't a clue what they are writing about wink

Fire pits. Just stop using them.

They seem to produce 100:1 of smoke versus heat. So one freezes one's tits off whilst getting permated by smoke. End result: stinky clothes, stinging eyes and mild hypothermia.

They are not an acceptable form of heating for outside areas.

There is no acceptable form of heating for outside areas. That's why we have inside areas.

I once pissed off a friend when she said she'd bought a fire pit for £150, and I said I'd have dug a hole in her garden for about twenty.

An interesting expression, for accuracy the complete euphemism reads

"I'd have dug a hole in her garden for about twenty", and refers cheekily to how readily the utterer would engage in coitus with the person referred to in the comment.

Wax fking melts. Just fk right off. All those 'facebook' wax melt businesses, they can fk off too. Take your stty product and just put it straight in the fking bin.

When lockdown started I took the opportunity to repaint a lot of the house. Then my Mrs started burning wax fking melts. Now there are greasy yellow stains appearing everywhere.
