"Legitimate Interest" cookie things

Pop ups that ask you to agree to Cookies which, when you dig into them, list off literally hundreds of companies that seem to think they have a "Legitimate Interest" in your browsing history & personal data etc

No, fk off, you do NOT have a "Legitimate Interest" , your interest is about as Legitimate as Putin's little foray into Ukraine!

Anyone who can develop some kind of browser add-on that automatically rejects anything to do with "Legitimate Interest" cookies could make fortune!
I think the default, at least for Apple devices, is sod off advertisers. Advertisers were predicting doom.

The level of sycophancy displayed by the BBC commentators at Buckingham Palace today frown
But surely everything about the Jubilee is sycophantic?
Presumably you have to watch the coverage to hear the commentators.
I just watched the flypast

I tried to watch the flypast, the sky news video i found spent more time showing the Queen than it did the aircraft, and several times showed a different wave of aircraft to the one the commentator was talking about rolleyes

I recognise two of those, but who's the third one?

Hang draw and quarter me but really how many flypasts can you witness before it gets a bit repetitive? Then there's the Red Arrows, noisy, skilful, colourful smoke umm red, noisy, different colour smoke etc etc. I'm a royalist, I like the Royals (generally), but the whole thing is a bit much IMO.

The bizarre stuff that AliExpress thinks I might want. Every day: several emails full of utterly random st.

I mean, what even the fk is this? (I daren't click through for fear that the algorithm will feel vindicated)

Whatever it is it’s got to be worth £4.63 of anyone’s money I reckon.

it's fascinating watching the throng, multicultural london, a melting pot of ethnicity,
while 57% of the capital's population are non white, yet the crowds are 99.9% white.
maybe all are republicans who knows, very strange.

wonder if Huw Edwards will point this out, while researchers vainly try to find an Asian family
bedecked in red while and blue that they can interview.

It's not strange all. a large number of the crowd are not Londoners. Some have travelled from as far as New Zealand.
