I bought this toilet sensor light off eBay. Two AA batteries keep it working for six months and it saves me switching on the en-suite light in the middle of the night and disturbing SWMBO.
See where you pee for less than a fiver. Invaluable. Don't buy the cheaper, squarer version.

I've been using them for year and find them perfectly balanced. Try them with a fine or extra fine refill if you haven't and you won't get the blotting you occasionally do with the medium and you can write more quickly. Fastchas said:
