I've become a bit of a Spoke fanboy since finding my right size, so that's my recommendation.
Do they now have a broadened range of sizes?I tried some when they had three(?) fits and they were still too tight around the legs, and, although quite athletic, I am not a World's Strongest Man competitor.
I think it all depends of what size you are and what fits rather than recommending any particular brand. Ultimately, a £30 pair of jeans that properly fit is going to look much better than a £320 citizens of humanity pair that don't fit.
I buy my jeans from Next, they just happened to be the ones that I think fit me the best. It used to be Uniqlo but either they changed their cut or I got fatter.

Any slightly pot bellied, over 50, 36/38" waist , 32" inside leg blokes here can recommend a £50 ish or lower a pair best options?
From reading through, possibly M&S slim fit, Next slim fit or GAP maybe? Fairly light weight and with some stretch would be good.
Cheers!

Rather than start a new topic....
Looking for a smart, dark blue jean - price up to £100 ish
Levi?
Spoke?
Nudie?
Any other to consider (apart from the last 7 pages of suggestions
I would remove Levi imo, they seem to wear out significantly faster than Edwin and Nudie. So my recommendation would be Nudie or Edwin, not tried Spoke, but Ive got Rugby player legs, so they might not work for me.Looking for a smart, dark blue jean - price up to £100 ish

I tend to stick with Edwin but this is correct. I used to have a lot of ED-80's but I'm a bit of a porker now and have moved onto ED-55's for the best fit for me. My going out/professional blazer and jeans look are a dark blue pair of Edwin's I picked up for £95. If you want to pay more for selvedge denim then they cater for that too. I also have a load of Nudie jeans for a more casual look. Again, my Nudie fits have changed with my increasing weight. Find the fit and look of the jeans you like and don't focus on the brand or cost so much.I buy my jeans from Next, they just happened to be the ones that I think fit me the best. Here's an idea of the sort of thing I buy which fits the bill.

I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago.
I absolutely love the fit.

My stepdad is a good 42" waist but has slim legs, so he wears "slim fit"!

Try some Wrangler Texas jeans. Variety of colours, well made, comfortable with a little stretch. They also do a slimmer fit version. You have similar measurements to me - I have several pairs of them, all from Jean Scene. From reading through, possibly M&S slim fit, Next slim fit or GAP maybe? I’d suggest they find jeans that pair well with a hospital gown!
