I was going to mow the lawn this afternoon ready to actually enjoy the garden for the first time since September over the weekend. Bah. I was promised a dry warm sunny day by the bloody forecasts I saw. Not happy. I will now have to use valuable drinking and lazing time doing manual labour. Rollocks.
I got too hot levelling a platform for a swing seat.I'm not helping am I??!?

Today was always the least best day. It's just got humid and still enough for a little bit of rain.
Normal service resumes tomorrow.
Don't worry all you people down south the weather will improve from tomorrow , we are heading back up north and taking our personal storm clouds with us. Normal service resumes tomorrow.
In 9 days split between Cirencester and Cheddar we have had one and a half days without rain, that included hail and torrential thunderstorms.
I am thinking of setting up a business , are you a farmer that requires rain, we will bring our own clouds with us and provide it or alternatively do you require sunshine, we will go somewhere else.

You'll be a millionaire by September just getting paid not to tour Cornwall all summer. In 9 days split between Cirencester and Cheddar we have had one and a half days without rain, that included hail and torrential thunderstorms.

That's something else. No idea why Trump made such a fuss about the wind turbines situated offshore close to his golf course at Menie. You never see them in summer as they are always shrouded by thick haar.
Just come back from Dyce where it is beautiful blue sky and sunshine but as soon as we got over the hill and close to the coast, the sunglasses came off and the temperature dropped by about 10°C. There are patches of blue sky trying to break through but I'm not holding out much hope

Lovely morning In south valleys and by the sounds of it the bikers agree as all I can hear is motorbikes over the mountains.
Seems the bikes have made it over to Warwickshire, refreshing lack of souped up lawnmower and s trimmer noise though. Feels like the 1st proper day of summer.
