South London and it's been drizzling all day today.

Was hoping to mow the lawn this evening after no mow May, but it's far too wet. Got guests coming for a bbq tomorrow too!

Just catching up so how's the hound Puggit?
Thanks for asking - really on the up. We weren't happy with his condition yesterday so took him back to the vet. Now on antibiotics, metacam and they added cocodamol yesterday. Since then he's livened up a bit - tail is wagging again.

His injuries were so severe that the original vet thought he'd been hit by a car. I think he rolled his entire weight on to a sticking out root with some real force during the scuffle. He's a staffy/lab cross, so imagine a small lab built like a staffy. There's a lot of weight in him!

Bang up some fairy lights, put a floaty dress on, hand out some sepia tinted glasses and you can pretend you're partying in a summer meadow in a bank commerical.

Lovely down here (sorry...) although the wind is a little cold, I even went in the sea. However it was 30 seconds or so before I could actually articulate the word "cold" after jumping in.

The woman I saw with a hosepipe pointed at her garden at about 8.30am must feel a little foolish now .

I can confirm that, having enjoyed lunch on a terrace with 27C and bright sunshine earlier, it's blowing a bloody hoolie now and we've an enormous thunderstorm. Forked lightning all over the vicinity.

I've not seen rain and wind like this for, ooh.....weeks! laugh

Bzzzzzz
Apparently more than 400 lightning strikes, according to RTL.
Tram and train services stopped working.
Loads of local floods.
Landslides too!

I do love that pint. Sadly this was Atlantic from Sharps in Cornwall hehe

I'll certainly enjoy some GOB at Burghfest this September - assuming we're not locked down by the hextuple variant from Rockall

Currently 32c in Colorado. Lovely in the shade, bit rough in the sun.

Bloody awful painting in a closet, even with AC.
