Summer whistle

Even I'm fed up with this relentless cold. Last spring was the warmest on record, this one I'm sure has to be the coldest!

Any idea from those who watch the forecasts on when we can start using this thread?

Apart from the 3 days in late March it has been a really disappointing Spring so far

Yeah I thought that was the case.

If only we could have had these Highs in 2 months time. The weather would have been glorious rolleyes

It’s still surprisingly chilly at night though! I bought a load of grass seed recently and can’t put it down it’s been so dry. hehe

Forecasts were way out. Hit 16 in our garden yesterday, forecast was 12!

That said, there's a bank holiday weekend coming up. Enough said.........

Unfortunately the wind maintains a northerly aspect. We are stuck in a cool rut.

Forgive my memory Bill, but is this a pond pond or a sex pond? Someone definitely has a sex pond as it has been talked about but I can't recall talk about a pond pond.

As for evaporation of sex pond waters, does anyone know if their salinity increases making them into little back garden super salty dead seas?

We do have a sex pond, but this is the pond pond. The SP has a lid so evaporative loss is low, but we do lose some to splashing.

I can see this being a poor summer, cant even get on a plane to escape to warmer climbs. Good times

Are we on track for the driest April on record?

I think I can only recall one very short period of light showers a couple of weeks ago.

Long range money is currently on scorching June/July.
