Long range money is currently on scorching June/July.
Quoted for posterity.............well June/July at the least wink

Be nice; got a lovely, isolated, inland holiday cottage booked for late June in the SW - would hate for it to be still this temp in June.

Sounds about right. We've got a couple of places booked in Devon and Cornwall for August...

I'll take those odds.

Five degrees and massive hail storm at 5.45.
Now pitch black and absolutely hosing it down.
This time on Sunday I was gardening in shorts and T-shirt!
It’s all over the place! nuts

It sure is - I reseeded the front lawn on Sunday, really hoping the bulk of the seeds have remained in place.

Slightly overcast this morning however that patch of lawn in catching some decent rays.

I don’t think any time soon. I agree. Seems like March still!

Two degrees and snow in the air.
I think the weather was warmer when we were in the winter thread. hehe

Currently sat in our garden with the dog, working. Garden is south facing with buildings/walls to shield from any east or west winds.

Sun is out - and it's cool enough not to be overheating!

Probably burning though hehe

Bank Holiday Monday.

Unfortunately I live in arguably the hottest part of the country, East Berkshire whistle

...and the Netweather forecast is showing rain on Monday afternoon and evening, lots of it.

What is worse are the forecast temps of 8c to 10c

And worse still are the "feels like" temps which are as low as 4c!

If that is the forecast for here, the hottest part of the country, gawd help those of the North.

Saying all that, just as I'm about to hit submit, the sun has come out!

Wife and I went for a kayak in Poole harbour on Tuesday expecting a light breeze and "feels like" circa 10°. We started in wetsuits (and packed cags and a thermal layer) but ended up in t-shirts and burning!

Nope, max 13C here in Reading. But the advice for pets is spot on (for when it really does heat up)
